TRUMP'S PICK FOR TREASURY AND COMMERCE DEPT.IS BRILLIANT!
Vanity | Windhover

Posted on 11/30/2016 5:55:06 PM PST by windhover

Trump continues to validate our best instincts about the man, and our greatest hopes. Not only does he know how to keep his friends close and his enemies closer, but he knows how and who to pick in a way to utterly confound and bewilder the liberals and Demo-gogs. Both Mnuchin, exec at Goldman - Sachs to Treasury and Ross, finance Billionaire, to Commerce. These guys have been huge political contributors,Trump has just robbed the Dems Blind with these appointments. Plus they know what they're doing, and they know the score and they understand Donald Trump.

Absolute Coup. Donald is turning out to be the Democrat Party's worst nightmare, 50 days BEFORE he even takes office. Perhaps our prayers our being answered. In any case I am learning to take a breath, and give Trump the benefit of a doubt on these appointments.

I understand we have been betrayed so often it is hard not to be cynical, but so far so good-- very good!

I wish I shared your enthusiasm for Soros- and Rothchild-connected banker globalists, but sorry, some of us work for a living so we can pay for the bankers’ bailouts.

I'm also concerned, since getting control of the Wall Street casino was part of Trump's campaign appeal to me.

Bannon comes from the same milieu, and is one of the globalists' worst enemies, so we'll see.

If I were a cynic, it might just be that the people at Goldman have figured out that they've fleeced as much out of globalism as they can, and now it's time to go with the strong horse and raise capital for real businesses.

I’ve read their profiles and I am not really getting the Todd Ricketts appointment but maybe I am missing something. I just didn’t see much on his resume. That said, he may still be a great choice.

I don’t agree with the celebration over these appointments. Trump’s never going to drain any swamps with these swamp rats.

Be prepared for Trump to make Romney Secretary of State in a few days. As much as I dislike Romney this time around, one of Bush's former advisers did a great analysis of Romney and concluded that State is completely broken and needs to be cleaned out and rebuilt from the ground up.

With his management consulting experience in the top consulting firms, Romney makes perfect sense. Both international management consulting at the highest levels and SOS job require both exceptional analytical and diplomatic skills.

The initial presumption is that Romney is an honest patriot.

I make no such assumption.

He will not be cleaning out and rebuilding the State Dept with PATRIOTS. He is one of the Globalist Swamp Monsters that need to be drained.

If DJT really does name Romney SOS, I will totally reassess my expectation for America’s Restoration.

We are so used to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory that we sometimes don't know what to do when we win. Everyone just sit back for a few minutes and just let it sink in. We won.

Don't worry too much about the "establishment." Yeah, he will have people opposing him. But WE are the establishment now. The GOPe and democrats are on the outside looking in from the cold. Romney is going to Trump looking for a job, not the other way around. Goldman Sacs people are interviewing with Trump. not the other way around. The old GOPe will have as much space at the table as is convenient to Trump. They will owe their loyalty to Trump. If he is president 8 years, the GOPe will be gone and forgotten, only the establishment will remain. And again, WE are the establishment now.

Trump has just finished picking up the republican party, and dragging it across the finish line. He has earned the benefit of the doubt about any of his nominees so far.

In the past we could knee-jerk a bad appointment response, because we knew our team wouldn’t keep them in line.

Trump’s goals are so firm I have no fear about his appointments. They’ll produce or he’ll kick them to the curb.

Honestly, I’ve never seen this dynamic before in the White House.

It makes judging Trump almost impossible. All we can do is wait and see what he produces.

I have a feeling, there are going to be one hell of a lot of #NeverTrumpers mortified at how bad they missed this one.
