President-elect Donald Trump exploded at media bigs in an off-the-record Trump Tower powow on Monday, sources told The Post.
“It was like a f—ing firing squad,” said one source.
“Trump started with Jeff Zucker and said I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed….
“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.
A second source confirmed the encounter.
“The meeting took place in a big board room and there were about 30 or 40 people, including the big news anchors from all the networks…,” the source said.
“Trump kept saying, ‘We’re in a room of liars, the deceitful dishonest media who got it all wrong. He addressed everyone in the room calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was network of liars.
“Trump didn’t say Katy Tur by name, but talked about an NBC female correspondent who got it wrong, then he referred to a horrible network correspondent who cried when Hillary lost who hosted a debate – which was Martha Raddatz who was also in the room.

I did read your post correctly, thus my response..
Trump said, during the primary, that the laws needed to be changed so that the press could be held accountable for their lies.
This was hardly a court of law, but the reports indicate that what he said during the meeting was consistent with with those views.
I’ll bet he also warned them of the Trump WH investigating possible legal action in the future if the lying continues.

Yes. We should be doing full scale assaults on these bastards on all fronts. Not only challenging their licensing, but accusing them of "In Kind" contributions to Democrats in violation of FEC law, Equal Employment Opportunity violations for not having a staff that is 50% conservative, and thereby providing defacto proof that they are discriminating, and then lastly, by applying RICO law to the media collusion with Democrats to throw an election.
We need to be trying to not only bankrupt them, but also trying to put them in prison at the same time.
It would not be difficult to prove the media were complicit in politics and in lies and in fabrications.
Half the media are blood and/or marriage relations with Democrat office holders and party officials. Yes, it is a Racketeering and Conspiracy sort of situation.
