BUSTED: We Have Axelrod’s Father’s Communist Party Membership #ObamaLovesAmerica has exclusively discovered David Axelrod’s father’s Communist Party membership. David Axelrod’s book, “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics,” details his very close relationship with his father, Joseph. He repeatedly told Charlie Rose that his father believed in the American dream. In fact, Axelrod’s father, Joseph, was a card-carrying communist. He’s listed as a member of the Communist Party for the 1936 general election. Axelrod briefly mentions his father’s Communist views in his book but only in passing and in a section about how he got to visit the former Soviet Union. Axelrod...

Appearing on Charlie Rose's PBS show this week, HBO's "Real Time" host Bull Maher rebuked him for linking Islam to Christianity, defending Christians by saying a vast numbers of them do not believe in violence or treat women as second class citizens. Maher, a self-proclaimed atheist, began by refuting former Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean's recent statement that vast numbers of Muslims are not like ISIS in Iraq and Syria, an al-Qaeda offshoot that seeks to form an Islamic emirate in the Levant region through "jihad." Interrupting Maher, Rose asked, "Behind every Muslim is a future member of some radical?"...

BILL MAHER: I saw Howard Dean on TV the other day and he said something along the order, he said the people in ISIS -- he said I'm about as Islamic as they are, you know, distancing the vast numbers of Islamic people around the world from them. That's just not true. CHARLIE ROSE: It is true. MAHER: It is not true, Charlie. There is a connecting tissue between -- ROSE: Behind every Muslim is a future member of some radical? David Remnick of The New Yorker showed up on PBS’s Charlie Rose Monday night to discuss his long, mostly sympathetic profile of Barack Obama from the January 27 issue of the magazine. Near the end of the interview, Rose focused in on the president’s reported desire to be “big.” The host wondered, “[W]hat's his definition of 'big,' and does he believe in his deep recesses of his own mind that the chance of that has slipped away?” Remnick replied that no, Obama does not think his chance of being “big” has slipped away. The editor then rattled off a laundry...

In a remarkable interview, Dick Cheney told Charlie Rose in that Barack Obama does not have the U.S. interests at heart. He also had some strong statements about the lack of U.S. response on the night of Benghazi. Cheney began with recent statements by the Saudi leader. Prince Bandar has said in the Wall Street Journal that he no longer trusts Barack Obama based on the withdrawal of military assets in the region and events in Iran. The United States had signaled they are withdrawing from the region and reducing their ability to influence the region. Cheney says the relationship...

On his Thursday night PBS program, Charlie Rose attempted to fulfill his duties as a liberal media member by defending the State Department’s dishonest talking points following the September 11 terrorist attack in Benghazi. Rose was grilling Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), who was involved in the Benghazi hearings, about his views on the matter. When Rose asked Chaffetz if he believed there was a coverup, the congressman was ready. He brought up the fact that for days after the attack, the administration claimed the incident had been sparked by a spontaneous demonstration over an anti-Islam YouTube video. But Chaffetz and...

Charlie Rose omitted mentioning the continuing high unemployment rate as he interviewed Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner on Tuesday's CBS This Morning. Rose also forwarded a criticism Geithner from the left, that the Cabinet official was "too friendly to the banks, because he knew them from his years at the New York Fed." The anchor also didn't challenge the Obama administration official's assertion that keeping all of the current tax rates would be a "deeply irresponsible thing to do fiscally and economically now. In an interview with CBS’s Charlie Rose, Obama says that the problem he’s had isn’t with the failed policies of his first term, but rather that he failed “to tell a story to the American people,” according to a report in the Christian Science Monitor. "The mistake of my first term – couple of years – was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right. And that's important. Back in 2007 and 2008, it was remarkable watching Barack Obama treated to one puffball interview after another, courtesy of Steve Kroft on "60 Minutes." Kroft compared him to Abe Lincoln and oozed about his "political poetry." But it's simply irresponsible, after three and a half years of President Obama wrecking the economy, that CBS -- now with anchor Charlie Rose -- is still in puffery mode. There's a certain level of contempt on the part of CBS. It could and should focus its attention on the plight of every family struggling with unemployment or a house that's underwater financially...

Charlie Rose did his best to avoid asking any tough questions during an interview of President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle that aired on Sunday's CBS Sunday Morning and Monday's CBS This Morning. Rose devoted over four straight minutes to the couple's summer vacation, family life, and marriage. He also touted the Democrat's ObamaCare law as "enormously successful," and wondered if it was his "proudest achievement in the first four years." Rose, who hounded House Speaker John Boehner over Rep. Paul Ryan's budget plan during a April 2012 interview, harkened back to the 2008 Obama campaign and early presidency...

GINGRICH: The President of the United States is patriotic in a worldview that involves the writing of Saul Alinsky, and involves a radical reinterpretation. Clearly, his czars were unconstitutional; clearly, his recess appointments, when there was no recess, is unconstitutional; clearly, the use of the U.S. attorney in North Dakota to selectively prosecute oil companies over eight migratory birds is unconstitutional. Wisconsin Republican Congressman Paul Ryan appeared Monday on the Charlie Rose show.  Ryan and his two coauthors apparently are out promoting their new book, Young Guns.  Both the form and substance of the interview serve as a good model for conservative and libertarian candidates in this year's mid-term elections. Mr. Rose seems to impose political bias on many of his interviews -- despite being funded in part by taxpayers, tax-deductible contributions, and tax-exempt charitable trusts.  On this show, he introduced Congressman Ryan by parroting two Democrat talking points: "dismantling Social Security and Medicare" and "austerity". However, Rose then gave Ryan...

Anybody watching this?? It should be required viewing for all swing voters. It's a roundtable discussion with a trio of leftists from "The Nation". The fetching Katrina is there and some guy called a "Peace & Disarment" Correspondent-saying we need to "accept defeat in Iraq" and disengage from the War on Terror--says Kerry not perfect--but will get us closer to these goals. Now they've rolled out Frank Rich and Fran Lebwoitz bashing Bush for being a Christian and not hiding it.

CHARLIE ROSE: All right. Stay with me. John Edwards has joined us. The senator from North Carolina, a Democrat in the Senate. Senator Edwards, tell me the mood in Washington and the feeling for what they -- senators and congress people -- might want the president to say and to do. I mean is there a sense of what kind of resolution the Congress might be called on by its leadership to pass tomorrow? Sen. JOHN EDWARDS (D-NC): Well, Charlie, I think what happened is the mood in Washington changed over the course of the day. I just dropped my...

Part 2 of the inteview with Michael Moore about his movie was aired tonight on Charlie Rose. During the interview, Moore tossed out a statistic about Republican voters during a discussion regarding Moore's opinion about President Bush's intellect. Moore, like most liberals, always underestimates Bush. It was interesting that Moore attempted to transfer his opinion to conservative Republicans. The statistic that he tossed out was that something like 47% of Republicans would never vote for a Democrat regardless of the circumstances or the candidates. Moore was suggesting that this reflects a lack of credible thinking on the part of those...

Charlie Rose's poll is currently 52% yes, 48% no. And how may Freepers watch Charlie Rose (besides myself)? One, maybe two. What this all means is: leftists are split on the need for the U.N.! Give Good-Time Charlie's poll a nice Freeper Bump!

Charlie Rose proves we were right! He hangs himself with his own words. Here's a link to the article, "A Free Speech Message To Charlie Rose, that Charlie finds so offensive. At the end of it is added the email Rose wrote to Leonard today to complain.(Here's the link to the October 14 FR post of the article" ) with FREEPER COMMENTS setting him straight. In that email, Charlie proves Leonard and the FR commentators to be absolutely correct!
