Poll: Donald Trump One Point Behind Hillary Clinton in Michigan
Breitbart ^ | 03/11/2016 | Breitbart News

A new Michigan poll shows that Donald Trump is only one point behind Hillary Clinton in the battleground state, according to a 500-person likely-voter poll conducted by a GOP polling firm. The poll records Clinton’s support at 45 percent, while Trump’s support has climbed to 44 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 5 percent, and Green Party’s Jill Stein is at 2 percent.

The poll was conducted Oct. 29 to Oct. 30 It is either an outlier or an early warning of a Trump surge in the critical state, whose 16 Electoral Votes could provide a path to the White House for Trump.

“Michigan is moving to a toss up because Donald Trump is uniting the Republican base, has a strong lead among Independents, is on the verge of record support in blue collar areas such as Macomb County, and gains a higher proportion of African Americans than Republican candidates usually get in Michigan,” said a Facebook statement by John Yob, head of Strategic National, the firm which conducted the poll.

Fox has been horrible other than Hannity this entire election.

Actually, Fox and Friends has been pretty good as of late.

Britt Hume had on George Will this evening. Have no idea what he had to say. Click.

We are VERY strong in Macomb Co. Why is that important?

Nope, and neither are the Arabs; at least not the ones in Michigan.

He a as much as said that the GOP is doomed unless we play ball with minorities———since whites are on the wane.

Guy thought that the Macomb strength would more or less offset Oakland. He told me if Oakland was just -4 or -5% Trump, west and north MI would overcome Wayne.

What do you hear about Oakland and/or Wayne? Obviously Wayne is terrible (like Cuyahoga) but do you know what the key % is? How much can we lose by and not get completely swamped?

I’m afraid to be optimistic. What was our outlook on this site when Obama won? Did we expect that loss ? Or were we too hopeful?

My husband was going to sit out this time but today he voted absentee for Trump — he’s on board since the news broke last week.

Trump is a cowboy. Not politically correct. That is refreshing to me. He doesn’t drink or smoke. He’s himself. I’ve come to like him quite well.

Cause I was speaking with pollster who has Trump up double digits there, and the inference was that if Macomb could offset Oakland, MI could be had.

I don’t mean to sound dumb. I live in Central Missouri. Does Macomb Co. have a large city or a large population?

It’s a very blue-collar area north of Detroit. GM/auto workers always have gone Dem. It’s now double digit Trump.

That and Oakland Co. are the two keys to MI. Get Macomb, don’t lose Oakland too bad, and we win.

20K supporters in Selma, NC...

According to the most recent census, the population of Selma was less than 6100 people. I have been through there many times. Although it is not far from the capitol city of Raleigh, the area right around Selma is pretty rural. 20,000 people is an amazing number! There is NO WAY Hillary can win NC unless it is by major vote fraud which will be difficult since by law we use paper ballots in NC.

I proudly cast my vote today for Donald J. Trump and Mike Spence! I went to see Mike Spence last Saturday in my home town of Jacksonville and have tickets to see DJT in Wilmington this Saturday. I did not want to miss the chance to see the next POTUS in person!!

I don’t think he has any more rallies scheduled for Michigan, but there is no time. Prior to this, he had to focus on the swing states as she was winning Michigan with a wider margin. It’s a shame he doesn’t have another week where he could campaign in some of these states where the polls are tightening. Of course, who knows what another week could bring.

“The poll was conducted Oct. 29 to Oct. 30......”

This was a poll conducted on the weekend. Weekend polls are notoriously inaccurate and favor the democrats.

From this, I say that Trump is actually leading in Michigan now.
