Poll: Donald Trump One Point Behind Hillary Clinton in Michigan
Breitbart ^ | 03/11/2016 | Breitbart News

A new Michigan poll shows that Donald Trump is only one point behind Hillary Clinton in the battleground state, according to a 500-person likely-voter poll conducted by a GOP polling firm. The poll records Clinton’s support at 45 percent, while Trump’s support has climbed to 44 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 5 percent, and Green Party’s Jill Stein is at 2 percent.

The poll was conducted Oct. 29 to Oct. 30 It is either an outlier or an early warning of a Trump surge in the critical state, whose 16 Electoral Votes could provide a path to the White House for Trump.

“Michigan is moving to a toss up because Donald Trump is uniting the Republican base, has a strong lead among Independents, is on the verge of record support in blue collar areas such as Macomb County, and gains a higher proportion of African Americans than Republican candidates usually get in Michigan,” said a Facebook statement by John Yob, head of Strategic National, the firm which conducted the poll.

Good for East Lansing. Upnorth I have seen a few Clinton signs...but we’re Trump up here without a doubt.

I might be losing a little off my fastball, but with the way this campaign is closing I feel supremely confident. I’m watching Trump, right now, in front of 20K supporters in Selma, NC. He has this thing.

and a recent visit from Trump that brought out thousands at noon on a Monday of all times!

Yep, 6000 people with only 24 hours notice.

Go West Michigan! I loved the CMMZ? video of those waiting in line for that rally. I so wished I had been off work and could have come down for it.

to be fair, this is because Fox is for some reason calling Utah and Arizona tossups. Those are not tossups. They did move Ohio into the lean Trump category today though.

Honestly, Utah doesnt matter and never did. Hillary has no chance, and if McMullin won in some fluke, it just means the House would appoint trump. Arizona... may be closer than usual, but Trump will take it by 5

To me, the most interesting poll to follow is the ABC/WaPo tracking poll — because it is a tracking poll. (I’m making an assumption here — that this is actually a tracking poll, as claimed. Of course, it could all be just another MSM lie.)

A tracking poll asks the questions to the same people, each time. A new sample of respondents is drawn each time, for an ordinary poll.

This means that whatever biases, or sampling errors exist have been “baked in” for the first iteration of the poll. The trend is now easy to see in future polls — because the original biases haven’t changed. They’re asking the same people, the same questions.

The ABC/WaPo poll had Clinton up by 12 points a couple of weeks ago. Today, she’s up by only 2, and yesterday it was a tie.

We can see how the same people react to new information. Clearly, new revelations about Clinton’s crookedness have had an effect.

Of course, the respondents to the tracking poll are not the same as most voters — just by participating in the poll, they are required to pay some attention to the election. It appears that the more people know about Clinton, the less inclined they are to vote for her. The more time passes, the more ordinary voters are going to learn these things too. At least, that’s something to hope for.

It’s the “hipster” area that was gentrified out of what once was the deep hood! Coffee shops, craft beer. All of that good stuff.

That area + East Grand Rapids, where all of the rich libs that moved here from Chicago and the east coast, is pretty much Portland.

No CRCers. LOL! They have long since moved to the burbs, but they still drive into town to their churches though!

The funny thing is that the local GOP HQ is actually located now on the once solid Democrat blue collar west side, and the Dem HQ is over here.

Geez, the hipsters. That is one generation I cannot wait for to grow the heck up. But if they displaced the hood, where did the hood go? I'm up in cottage country. Lots of GR people here during the summer. Most solidly conservative.

Wonder how many times they had to run the program to maintain the 1 pt lead.

They have pushed it south. It’s created a lot of “friction”, let’s just say. Somehow there is an undeclared line where the white libs have avoided moving into “their community” any deeper...for now. It’s pretty entertaining seeing people with expensive laptops in a coffee shop and looking one block over at literally MLK elementary school, trying to act like they get along. One white guy tried to run for the city commission in the “black” ward and was accused of “colonialism”. That was a hoot!

Two groups of lefties barely standing each other! But outside of this funhouse the rest of GR is still very red. It is mostly Justin Amash’s congressional district. Oh that drives the people where I live nuts too!

That’s an interesting anecdote.

Made me think of some of the stories that have been posted lately on here of some of the high school votes that Trump won. I think those are more important, and tend to run under the radar than many people believe.

Sounds like the Jews and Arabs in SE Michigan. Hate each other but vote the same. I will never understand why the Jews vote Dem.

Johnson isn’t getting 5%, so Trump is really ahead.

Go figure that the Jews and Arabs vote the same. Now that is some crazy.
____
True. The problem is defining them generally as Jews. Democrat “Jews” (in great numbers) are secular elitists with way too much education which they believe substantiates their psychotic ideology.

But it was supposed to be in 2015! Looking for my copy of “Blame Michigan” to play when they show Hillary!’s funeral/election night event. Hmmm ... not on youtube any more. Sigh. It’s (mostly) an Ohio thing.

100%. Overpolling of women and college graduates who support The Wun. For some reason, USC/LA Times decided to play it straight. No idea why. Maybe for 2020?

Fox was just as much of a Hillary plant this time as CNN. I can’t help but believe their goal was to supress conservatives with these low ball poll numbers. Something funny happened on the way to the ballot box though...

Mr Trump needs lots of poll watchers in Detroit/Ann Arbor/Dearbornistan

the rest of the state he will win for sure, but there’s a ton of need to watch every ballot in the Detroit area

too much voting fraud , needs to be held down as much as possible...same for Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia
