On October 12, the New York State’s ACLU affiliate, the NYCLU, joined the NRA, the NAACP, the New York Times editorial board, the Legal Aid society, the office of Court Administration, and the Village Voice in support of Knife law reform.

This unusual set of allies was brought together by the heavy handed abuse of the current knife law by New York City prosecutors, especially District Attorney Cyrus Vance.

As many as 80% of the arrests for possession of common pocket knives were of Hispanics and blacks.  Common pocket knives have been characterized as “gravity knives” by a bizarre interpretation of the law. That interpretation is almost exclusively in New York City.

A lawsuit against District Attorney Vance by Knife Rights is in progress, but may take years to bring relief.  We are not talking a small number of abuses.  The Village Voice estimates 60,000 arrests over a 10 year period.  That was two years ago.

The lawsuit may be moot.  Knife Rights also pushed a legislative reform that would prevent most abuses of the law.  It was heavily lobbied against by Cyrus Vance. This year it passed both houses of the New York legislature with overwhelming margins:

Wow. Thanks for making decisions for everyone. Whatever would they do without you around?

When you advocate for there to be long blades around me everywhere I go, you’re making a decision for me too.

I don’t buy into it.

Can you imagine a George Soros group outside a Trump rally all carrying foot-long daggers?

Maybe you think that would be a better society. At the present time I don’t.

No, I’m advocating people being free to make their own choices.

You’re arguing against that. You sure you’re on the right forum?

Okay, then lets let murderers make their own choices.

Let’s let rapists make their own choices.

Let’s let pedophiles make their own choices.

Yep, I’m arguing against that too. Are you sure you’re on the right forum.

The ACLU is right down the internet...

You’re not, oh what’s the word.... Oh yes. “Smart”, are you.

You couldn’t possibly be that dense... wait.....you can be.

Not mentioned in the Constitution, and that’s your guideline ace.

How do you like them apples.

People get to make up their own minds...

Isn’t that what you said?

You want to grow up now?

You balked stridently at my mentioning those categories where people made their own choices. In two of them, we’re not even talking about murder, the ultimate crime against another.

I mentioned that I didn’t want to come out of events with my family and face a group with 10” knives. You didn’t care at all. Hey, personal choices.

You want to allow guy who are being paid by a billionaire to carry whatever knives they want. So instead of just punching, kicking, and ultimately hospitalizing people, you don’t mind if there are swords, machetes, or simply 10” knives in their hands.

I don’t want to come out of a movie, a political event, or just a coffee house and have one person or a group out there looking to cause harm with large knives. And sadly, that is the next thing to happen in a long line of progressively worse and “forgiven” things people like Black Lives Matter, George Soros paid goons, or the DNC/Hillary’s paid goons do.

Here we are just two weeks from ‘God forbid’ Hillary Clinton getting elected, a woman who utterly despises White people and the nation they created. It is at this time that you and others want to give permission to thugs on the street to carry large knives.

Evidently the implications of this are lost on you.

Do you think a Clinton Justice Department will come down hard on thug killers? LOL, I sure don’t.

You can wrap yourself in the U. S. Constitution all you like on this one, I’m not buying into legalizing all forms of knives on the street in the hands of people looking to harm select people.

If you wish to think I hate our Founding Fathers and the U. S. Constitution, go ahead.

I just realize that there are times when winning is losing. If the folks who want these gangs to have knives like that on the street get their way, look out.

It won’t be safe to go out anywhere.

You can't claim to support the Constitution, Second Amendment, and rule of law and oppose fixing knife laws in New York so they no longer promote evidence tampering and the willful disdain of the law by the police.

Every legislator who opposed this bill should be actively survellied with photographic documentation produced of them breaking some of the hundreds of laws that people accidentally break daily. I am not saying we should threaten them with this. Their accidental criminal infractions should be collected and publicized as a way of convincing them, the rest of hte ruling class, and the public of the need to get rid of reform libraries of laws and regulations, which make everyone criminals subject to the capricious imprisonment of those in power.

A knife is a functional weapon, especially if you have trained how to use one. So of course the demcscum want to make it illegal to own let along carry one.
So do the legislators empowered by Trump supporters

I wasn’t talking about Trump. I was talking about his White ethnic voters in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
