This would be the stupidest, most idiotic action this administration has taken. This would top it all.

The US is a target rich in a cyber war. If this happens I just hope Putin's counter attack focuses on the leadership and its propaganda arms and leaves the rest of us alone.

Speaking of alone. If the US goes ahead with this, it does so without a single ally. No one else is stupid enough to risk a cyber war, a this point, with Russia.

Obama-Hillary-neocons are hell bent to start a war with a nuclear Russia, unless Trump wins in November

Be nice if President Putin would authorize his GRU or the Mossad to take out the threat to the world.

We have been in a cyber war with Russia since they hacked Cankles Server and backdoored the State Department OVER 4 YEARS AGO.

This will shut down our internet by Russian retaliation. Obama wants our internet shut down so they can steal the election. Get ready.

Yeah right. When a lying con-man says to look at what he is holding in his right hand, you better watch his left. Election games.

The story is pure propaganda targeted at the US population. There won't be any "ramped up" US cyber attack. Clandestine network activity will continue as usual, and both sides know it.

Obama waging “cyber war” has to be a joke.

He “didn’t know” his Cabinet Secy at the State Dept was jerking US foreign policy around to get-rich-quick.....that the Clinton Foundation was in possession of, and selling, classified US documents

Obama is so stupid he doesn’t even know the difference between emails from a private server and those from a dot.govt server.

Not a bad idea to print out your bank accounts, and have some actual cash on hand.

War is all they have left. The tracking polls show the bimbo attack on Trump failed.

Obama is putting the wheels in motion to blame Putin when Trump wins the election. Then Obama can cry, “Foul!”, negate the results, and ... then it gets even uglier.

Beyond-stupid announcement on many levels.

Here’s just one level - a third party actor (from China to a teenager) could take the opportunity to covertly cripple a critical Russian asset; maybe even lives are lost. Because of this insane announcement, guess who is blamed, and retaliated against?

So was it the Russians, or Donna Brazile and Debbie Wasserman Schultz that influenced the Democrat primaries and cheated Bernie out of supposedly legitimate victories? Can Bernie have the benefit of a reset button as a self-avowed socialist?

That's a pretty high bar. Destroying civilization in Syria, Libya, and Iraq? Using Benghazi for gun-running to terrorists?

I've been thinking about this insanity. Russia has superior hackers; the gripe this administration has is the claim they can't secure our technology from their hacking. Russia and its allies are much better equipped from tougher lives and less high-tech lives to persevere if this spreads to other aspects of life, I'd think. Could cyber warfare bring down ALL aspects of our lives....transportation, utilities, food supply, even things like medical records? What happens when everyone globally starts weaponizing drones they bought at Amazon or wherever? What happens when satellite transmissions get hacked? There goes communication.

Am I speaking impossible stuff, or could things really get very, very out of control?

The best programmers and hackers I ever met were all Russian.

The S-300/400/500 are so good not because of the hardware but because of the Russian coded software.

Beware

This would be all about personal gain and protection. Wikileaks is getting too close to obongo. Just like fall of 08 and 12 isn’t it? Create a crisis, create turmoil, shift the footing, throw everything off balance. Even to the point of martial law mandates. Whatever it takes to win and get your way and destroy.

It looks like Wikileaks / Adrian Assange is getting too close to exposing this den of snakes and that obongo is going to do something stupid that will endanger all of us to cover it up or divert attention. He and hrc are claiming that the Russians have hacked the information that is being released and are preparing for a cyber attack on Russia. That will turn out badly. Very badly. We probably can’t imagine just how precarious and crazy things are behind the scenes.

Great comments over at ZH.

Bottom line—in a cyberwar we are much more vulnerable than the Russians.

Imagine how Americans would handle closed bank ATMs, shut-down of food stamps and other .gov benefits, etc.

Plus—we did hack Iran’s computers at their nuclear sites, so it is hypocritical of us to whine about cyberwar.

Next week will be another crazy one—be nice to everyone you meet because folks will be stressed.

” .... and leaves the rest of us alone.”

One thing the thug in the White House should realize is that he would be alone. Our nation and military wouldn’t support his sorry muzzie ass.

George W. Bush had good relations with Putin and Russia before leaving office. Obama and Hillary did their silly “reset.” You can bet that so much of obama and hillary’s policy has been influenced by the muslim brotherhood. Instead of wiping out ISIS, obama, hillary, and the muslim brotherhood would prefer we be at odds with Russia.
