-- This would be the stupidest, most idiotic action this administration has taken. This would top it all. --

The story is pure propaganda targeted at the US population. There won't be any "ramped up" US cyber attack. Clandestine network activity will continue as usual, and both sides know it.

There’s more to it than that. If the e-mail leaks don’t stop it will just seem that the cyber offensive failed. The hackers will obviously call their bluff.

You are most correct it is propaganda. Some of the comments here are also some of the damned funniest I have seen for quite some time. Even to the extent of rationalizing Russian actions out of some sick romanticized fantasy that props up any form of legitimacy that Russian actions are just or pure. This for the sole purpose of propelling our guy into the White House.

Very difficult to place into words craziness seen around here as of late
