Trump has begun tweeting against Ryan. Within the last hour:
Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty.
AND
Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support!
Time to turn up the heat. Punk Ryan just got too cute by half for the last time with his nonendorsement endorsement.
McCain, Ryan, the newspapers.
This all HELPS Trump. It shows independent voters that Trump is a maverick - he’s his own man, not owned by any media or party.
All this will backfire on them. They still don’t get where voters are.
Congress with 10% approval rate. Media not trusted.
Trump is the ONE WAY the average voter can stick it to both parties, the media, the PC culture, Obama, Bush and Clinton crime families.
They’ve made voting for him the true act of American liberation.
He needs to broaden the attack...not to one man but to all of Washington...both sides. His position for the next four weeks needs to be DC is making your life worse, both parties. If you think DC is doing a great job, vote for more of the same. If you think Washington is broken, join me for change.
Sorry, I disagree. I think Ryan is shameless and disgusting, but Trump needs to STAY on message. Hasn’t he been in enough hot water over his tweets? How many unforced errors is he going to make?
Jerks like Paul and Jeb are just trying to set the stage for the next election....where they will get their a** kicked again.
RINORyan (AND all the others) loose mucho $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ with Trump.
Pretty much explains it, don’cha think?
I have to agree with you, and I think a lot of people feel the same way.
Valid point, but Trump is Trump and he’s been doing this for over a year now. It’s working.
Hard to say. I don’t think it’s just him spouting off but he probably realizes we can’t win with this backstabbing. What’s been done is disgraceful. I’m sure he thinks he has to run against the leadership to have any chance.
Paul Ryan does not own the Speakership—He can be repudiated and, ultimately, voted out by the House GOP caucus.
That House Republicans are essentially sitting on their hands speaks volumes; none of it positive.
Ryan is part of broken Washington. I hope Trump screams it from his podium today at his campaign stops! I’m a Deplorable!
Paul Ryan = The Snake.
Laura Ingraham’s reporting that on a conference call with congress critters yesterday, Paul Ryan got a nasty earful.
Force him out. I will not be voting for down ballot GOP candidates.
They have earned the same loyalty they gave Trump - NONE!
I won’t vote for a party whose leaders have sought to push aside its nominee.
Their sabotage must have consequences.
Sorry, I disagree. I think Ryan is shameless and disgusting, but Trump needs to STAY on message. Hasnt he been in enough hot water over his tweets? How many unforced errors is he going to make?
The GOPe is campaigning for Hillary Criminal and not respecting the will of GOP voters. Trump is rightly forcing them to pay a price for their treason.
“I think Ryan is shameless and disgusting, but Trump needs to STAY on message. “
I agree with you. The base hates Ryan and the Democrats only care about Ryan because he provides a distraction from real issues. There is no upside to continuing to bash Ryan.
Wikileaks has downloaded a lot of ammunition to use against Hillary. Trump needs to be totally focused on the revelations and use them to demonstrate Hillary is not fit to be president. With Trump focused on turncoat Republicans, the Clinton campaign and the media are doing an effective job of damage control on the Wikileaks story.
The party abandoned its base. I don’t think it will survive.
Hard to say. I dont think its just him spouting off but he probably realizes we cant win with this backstabbing. Whats been done is disgraceful. Im sure he thinks he has to run against the leadership to have any chance.
Spot on. The GOPe won’t back off until they fear Trump. And us. Because really this election isn’t about Trump. It’s about America.
