Voters in five battleground states declared Hillary Clinton the winner of this week’s debate against Donald Trump, boosting her fortunes in those key races, a new poll showed Thursday.

A majority of voters in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia all told Public Policy Polling that Clinton got the better of Trump in their first showdown.

The Public Policy poll was taken Tuesday and Wednesday, giving voters at least one night to digest Monday’s slugfest at Hofstra University.

Clinton’s debate also helped her bounce to leads in all five states, according to the poll.

In four-way races that include the Libertarian and Green Party candidates, Clinton led Trump in Virginia and Colorado by identical margins of 46 to 40 percent.

She was also ahead in Pennsylvania (45 to 39 percent), Florida (45 to 43 percent) and North Carolina (44 to 42 percent)

Sadly Vinny this crap does work with a good many on our side, but I was expecting this to happen. Trump could of mopped the floor with her and the MSM narrative is still the same.

I think they were trying everything they could to get under Trump’s skin.

The lying, the handsignals and bias are perfect examples of the dishonesty that Trump so often rails against.

I believe Trump handled himself very well in that situation.

He was calm and decent and IMO Hillary looks very bad in comparison.

All I thought of during the debate is what a lying conniving b$@ch she is.

If Trump would have completely unloaded on her it would have distracted from that point.

Trump is handing her enough rope to hang herself.

He’s very good at that.

There’s nothing I believe that comes from the Tokyo Rose media.

Nixon was smart not to debate in 1968. He may have been a very paranoid man, but as far as the MSM goes, he was right for never trusting them.

YES! Please everyone make sure you are registered to vote (well, ok probably everyone here has done that) AND that like-minded family and friends have also registered. It’s one thing to attend rallies and another to vote.

Also . . . everyone who can needs to volunteer as a pollwatcher on election day. The thugs will be out ready to cheat.

With all this BS polling they think they can get away with massive voter fraud... they will just say that all the polls showed her ahead.

That is why signs on your lawn and rallies are important- they show a YUGE enthusiasm gap.

When Trump consistently has to TURN AWAY more people than usually attend a HilLIARy rally, that shows the real feelings people have.

DON’T FORGET TO WEAR RED ON ELECTION DAY to show you are a Trump supporter. (Or, preferably Red, White, and Blue)

He has to blanket the airwaves with Trump ads - Hillary is running anti-Trump ads nonstop during the nightly news and there is nothing to counter them.

Negative ads do work and there is plenty that he can run against her and her foundation to connect with voters, especially those who would rather "stay home".

“It’s OK. Rest easy. No Problem. PPP is as believable as Hillary Clinton.”

-—Guys we need to stop. We did this in 2012 about the polls and were all very disappointed. Trump’s lack of preparation for the debate showed and I think it’s costing him the momentum it took almost 2 months to get back. Unless Trump can score a MAJOR win in the next debate I’m not sure that momentum will come back.

From now on until election day Trump will be on defense (Miss Universe, Trump in Cuba BS, ect) unless he can do something like score a MAJOR win in the next debate.

We need to stop spending all our time saying the polls are rigged (I do think some, not all, are agenda driven), and Hillary cheated at debates (even if true she’s done much worse and no consequences), and just look at the reality that Trump might be in trouble.

PS: not a newbie, not a troll, or any other names you can think of. I’m simply concerned Trump is in trouble

Are there really that many "undecided's" that are that fickle?

Trump is no Romney

Hillary had her Romney moment with the deplorable comment, she just energized rural and suburban America and it doesn’t look good for her

Just like Romney energized Urban and black America with his 47% comment and it did not look good for him after that.

Don’t compare Trump to Romney, if anything compare Hillary to Romney
