Thanking his volunteers in Cleveland a day after the Republican National Convention wrapped, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump today slammed Ted Cruz's Wednesday night speech and said he will not accept if the Texas senator ever decides to endorse him.
"He'll come and endorse over the next little while. It's because he has no choice," Trump said. "But I don't want his endorsement. What difference does it make?"
"Ted, just stay home, relax, enjoy yourself," Trump.

+1!
Is it confirmed that he submitted one and spoke the other?
As long as the pressholes are talking about Trump and spelling his name correctly, it helps Trump.
Capiche?
Trumps instincts are to strike back. It is more about Don than it is about the election.
POS like Cruz, Bush, Kasich, Ryan, Romney, McCain, et al. have not stopped rolling grenades into the Trump tent. These enemy combatants need to be ostracized and bused to philly where they belong.
You, a Cruzbot have been wrong about everything.
Don’t you get tired of being wrong?
“God did not make fig leaves big enough to cover Cruz.”
I’ve seen some pretty big maple leafs....but you’re right ;)
Cruz is like that Parable of Trees in the book of Judges... A bramble tree that casts no shade and wants to rule. Trump has (as I have) had his fill of this pathological liar. But I have no expectations that Cruz or his handlers have the ability to learn anything... Nobody sets the Levin and Rush jokers straight, they know it all and have bank accounts to prove it.
I think it would only take being the parents of 2 bickering siblings (or an owner of two cats that fight each other) to understand.
Donald could have said he did not “require” Cruz’s endorsement or “did not care.”
Except IF you pay attention, Cruz-mite after Cruz-mite claims the reason, and justifiably so, that Cruz pulled his convention antics was because Trump attacked Hidey and pappy preacher Cruz... Trump set the record straight... publicly. Do NOT mess with Donald...
Trump graciously gave Cruz a key speaking slot, which Cruz abused.
Trump saying he would not accept TC endorsement signals the end to any negotiation with Cruz.
In affect saying, “Do what you want, but you’ll never get the chance to do it on a platform or mic my campaign pays for.”
Ain’t personal Corny, just business.
Ask yourself this. Would anyone on Trump’s side have approved a nearly twenty-five minute ramble from a guy who refused to endorse the candidate? Who else, outside of keynote speakers, was approved to talk so long? (For that matter, what other speaker was approved who didn’t support Trump? Cruz supporters seem to think that special rules apply to Cruz. Obots think the same thing about Obama.)
Then ask yourself where Newt got the idea Cruz’ speech in fact included an endorsement? Here is the line Newt was supposed to deliver, from his prepared remarks:
Senator Ted Cruz in particular made the key point that we need to elect the Trump-Pence Republican ticket.
Cruz is not a man of his word. To this day he’s lying nonstop about what Trump “said,” about Heidi. He’s simply a deceitful person.
Donald is talking hypothetically about something he has no reason to expect will happen. That’s pride talking.
>>Hope he doesn’t retaliate by screwing Trump with his senate votes.
**********************************************************
He could, but I think he is so universally disliked in the Senate (and now even more so) that IMO he has essentially been “de-fanged”. At least, let’s hope so!
But he can make a deal with the most oppressive oligarchy in the Middle East. Azerbijian.
Don’t worry, he won’t have to turn it down because Cruz will not endorse.
Anyone watch Pence’s face when DT was talking this morning? LOL-—
Are you a snake handler too?
If I was on a mission trip and was bit by a snake if the LORD willed I would not die, or I might. I do handle gardener snakes. Loved living in the north where there are no poisonous snakes. LOL Lived in the midwest where there are recluse spiders. That was fun. Loved North Carolina but stayed away from the inlets cause there had been an 8 foot gator there the week before. Think I’ll ever make it to Alaska (bucket list) with the Grizzlies?
“Why would he need to say that?”
Because it is totally dismissive of Ted Cruz. And it is an example of Trump taking the high road.
Whenever you post, something is subtracted from the sum total of human knowledge.
“Donald. Please keep your eye on the ball. Are you capable of that?
Ever step on a roach and it keeps running. I don’t think if radiation would stop the Croach.”
Trump says he doesn’t want Cruz’s endorsement. He tells Cruz to go home and just relax.
Then he spends 15 minutes on Heidi Cruz and Rafael Cruz.
What a waste of live tv coverage. Hillary is spending $ 2 million a day. Trump is relying on free coverage. There itr was and he was off message.
