Missing EgyptAir flight MS804 had reportedly been forced to make three emergency landings in the 24 hours leading up to crash.

The Airbus 320 is said to have been forced to turn around shortly after takeoff on three separate occasions after it's warning systems signalled an anomaly onboard.

The claims, made in French media, have since been denied by the Egyptian lead crash investigation committee.

What anomalies, list them. Now that the French are closing in on the black boxes the excuse making machine is getting cranked up.

Hmmm.

Hidden bomb that could be radio activated or cell phone activated?

System detects presence of unknown item searching for a signal or capable of receiving a signal?

The plot thickens.

it's warning systems

IT'S???? The apostrophized contraction for "it is"??? This is a journalist, a writer by profession????

The word this illiterate moron is looking for is ITS -- the third person singular genitive (possessive).

And fire the proofreader while you're at it.

"Now that the French are closing in on the black boxes...."

How is that known? Please provide a link or source to that info.

I can't believe the airplane would continue to fly after three emergency landings in one day. I would tend to discount such a story

I was on a flight a number of years ago that aborted a take-off. The pilot explained that he was getting an intermittent signal from an air flow sensor within the airplane. We waited for more than 6 hours to diagnose the problem. While waiting, I spent the time with a friend who happened to be on the airplane who was a military pilot. I told him I didn't understand why we would be delayed for so long when the sensor was no longer indicating a problem. He explained that pilot ALWAYS finds the source of a problem before flying an airplane, much less one with 250 people on board.

When we finally boarded the airplane, again, the pilot announced that a mouse nest was found and removed from an instrument cooling duct.

That said, I just can't imagine a pilot flying an airplane that experienced three emergency landings in one day, without finding the source of the problem.

hmmmm thats pretty odd 3 RTBs and NOTHING found? I'm not a pilot nor an aircraft mechanic. However if there were three phantom faults that forced me to return to the ground I feel I would be compelled to ground that flight and I would think the crew would feel the same. This makes no sense to me.

It may appear I plagiarized your post which you made moments before I made mine, what with the repeated three in bold and the same argument and all that. However, I assure you nothing could be further from the truth. In fact I am actually plagiarizing someone entirely different.

I can’t find anything showing the flight making any emergency landings. I just checked FlightRadar24 and there is nothing there nor in any news.
As far as the ACARS is concerned when it goes off, it sends a report. What did the report say? It doesn’t say “There is an anomaly onboard”. It checks flight data systems, ambient temp, hydraulics, etc. It isn’t designed to see if something like a cell phone is transmitting or receiving data.
Sounds fishy to me. There is a lot of speculation going on but not too many facts. I’ve even been slammed on this site by someone stating that they had found the black box’s less than 7 days after the flight went down. Speculation.

I would assume after the second warning that jet would be impounded and every part of it would be inspected. I also assume both Boeing and Airbus have protocols for such situations along with international regulations.

I am a mechanic for a big ole southern airline. If a fuel control, what i do, came in TWICE it would be Quarantined... Not sure if its the SAME fault? or 3 different ones... QA, FAA, and a whole bunch of other groups would be involved.

I don't know which is a better reason NOT to fly Egypt Air:
1: There might be a bomb on board.
2: They don't know how to properly maintain their aircraft.

THAT plane would have no passengers after it landed for the second time ... but then ... the passengers were of middle eastern mentality, right ?
