I can't believe the airplane would continue to fly after three emergency landings in one day. I would tend to discount such a story

I was on a flight a number of years ago that aborted a take-off. The pilot explained that he was getting an intermittent signal from an air flow sensor within the airplane. We waited for more than 6 hours to diagnose the problem. While waiting, I spent the time with a friend who happened to be on the airplane who was a military pilot. I told him I didn't understand why we would be delayed for so long when the sensor was no longer indicating a problem. He explained that pilot ALWAYS finds the source of a problem before flying an airplane, much less one with 250 people on board.

When we finally boarded the airplane, again, the pilot announced that a mouse nest was found and removed from an instrument cooling duct.

That said, I just can't imagine a pilot flying an airplane that experienced three emergency landings in one day, without finding the source of the problem.

It may appear I plagiarized your post which you made moments before I made mine, what with the repeated three in bold and the same argument and all that. However, I assure you nothing could be further from the truth. In fact I am actually plagiarizing someone entirely different.

It wasn't the nest that was the worry, it was the mouse droppings.

After all, Mousy Dung was the cause of the deaths of millions of Chinese...

” I just can’t imagine a pilot flying an airplane that experienced three emergency landings in one day,”

Don’t confuse the attitudes of American pilots with other pilots.
