I like to tell people that, whenever I know the details of a local story, I can always find at least one mistake in the story. It might be a person’s job title, where they work, the address the event happened at - something is always wrong, 100% of the time.
So, I’ve always assumed that all stories are full of inaccuracies (the accidental ones, before the intentional ones to slant the story). The media think very highly of themselves, but they really are a bunch of sloppy dunces.
Having an E Landing and a problem on the runway or at the gate are two completely different things.
I’ll write you from jail
” I just can’t imagine a pilot flying an airplane that experienced three emergency landings in one day,”
Don’t confuse the attitudes of American pilots with other pilots.
...it’s warning systems ....
***
Really? “After it is warning systems” makes no sense.
These “journalists” are idiots!
I know, I know, proofreading is just so boring.
Well said.
Dittos to that! TWA 800 was the ‘No more flying’ event for myself also.
>>When we finally boarded the airplane, again, the pilot announced that a mouse nest was found and removed from an instrument cooling duct.
>It wasn’t the nest that was the worry, it was the mouse droppings.
>After all, Mousy Dung was the cause of the deaths of millions of Chinese...
(Deafening rim shot)
How about might have Muslim suicide pilots? We already had that happen.
The claims, made in French media, have since been denied by the Egyptian lead crash investigation committee.
