BANGKOK – A Thai man is recovering from a bloody encounter with a 10-foot python that slithered through the plumbing of his home and latched its jaws onto his penis as he was using a squat toilet.

In 1956, when I was lived in Annapolis Maryland, I was 10 years old and it was late spring. When I got up in the morning and went to the bathroom, there was a cotton mouth water moccasin than had somehow come in through the toilet and was sitting in the bowl. It bit me in the hand when I went to grab it.
I then learned about anti-venom and tetanus shots.
