My prediction for the election

Posted on 05/25/2016 4:13:02 PM PDT by TopDog2

It looks to me, now that Trump is looking like he can beat HRC, the administration is starting to cut her loose. The State Department is setting her up for an indictment. This will clear the way for Biden to run in November. Am I wrong? We'll see.

Remember, pre-Indiana, how breathless the Drive Bys were about a "brokered" GOP Convention?

The Dems are the ones staring down the barrel of 1968, The Sequel.

Instead of jail, I’d be ok with Hillary never running for office ever again. That would be best for the country.

Biden would have all of Mrs. Bill’s Superdelegates as well as her won delegates.

"If you are a Bernie Sanders supporter and Hillary has to leave the race, what would you do if the Party put in Biden at this late date?"

"Creepy Uncle Joe/Crazy Commie Bernie 2016!"

(Oh yeah. The women folk won't like that. But who are they gonna vote for, Trump?)

This used to be a place for informative food for thought.

If my recent experience is any guide, however, it’s now mostly jerking knees, paranoia, shamefully rude behavior.

Bring back the 1990s FR I say - it was a much nicer and infinitely more interesting place.

In a sane and normal country, Trump would easily beat Hillary, or Sanders or Biden or Fauxchontas.

But this not a sane country. 0bama is still very popular despite all he has done. His approvals remain high which means any Democrat can win.

No saying Trump won’t win, but saying it’s going to be tough. Most Americans are dumbed down and stupid. Trump is going have to work real hard and sway some of these idots to pull off a win.

The super delegates are not bound. She has not won enough bound to sew it up. If the unpledged abandon her, she would have to win over 90% of the remaining bound delegates to get the nod. If they want to stop the nomination, they have to do it soon, however.

Hillary will have enough delegates to prevent Sanders from winning on the first ballot. Biden will win on the second ballot if Hillary is indicted.

“How will Joe Biden fend off Bernie Sanders?”

It’s all about timing. The Administration will hold off any indictment until at least a couple weeks after the convention is over. This way, Bernie-mania will be considered “over”, and they will bring in the emergency white knight Biden to save the day.

I believe at this point this is a very plausible scenario. If the Administration thinks HRC is toxic and can’t win, no way will they take their chances with her against Trump. The Dems don’t operate that way — they play to win.

Now whether Biden can beat Trump is another matter entirely. Biden provides a target-rich environment for Trump to make fun of. But at this point, he’s probably the best hope for the Dems.

Subbing Biden may push Sanders into running as an independent. Biden will pull less votes than Hillary. He’s not a woman and he’s not black.

No one can predict an indictment or a Biden run because no one knows to what extent the Clintons can blackmail Obama, and how Obama will react. We probably will never know.
