... There appears to be a troubling trend within the VA. As of December 2015, almost 99 percent of the names listed on the 'mental defective' category for the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, otherwise known as the national gun-ban list, are from the Veterans Administration. Once a person's name is on that list, they are banned from owning or possessing a firearm. Their Second Amendment rights are completely null and void...

Most people with a fiduciary have been judged by at least two doctors to be unable to manage their own money...and the leading causes are Delusional PTSD, schizophrenia, chronic alcoholism and hard core drug use.
Of 40 million veterans in the US, approximately 100,000 didn't come home well and have demonstrated behaviors that warrant this action. That's .25%...a far lower percentage than the general population not able to purchase a gun.
Almost to a man they have been constrained from free movement at least once.
100% disability for mental problems.
I hope someone is suing them under due process.
Failure to get a NICS approval and getting a "Denied" means that the transfer of the firearm is NOT approved. I'm not exactly sure that translates to "not allowed to own a gun - ever."
Most people don’t think “warfighter” is liberal inspired.
I do like your suggestion though. War Department sounds so much better than Defense Department.
Truman changed it from Department of War to Department of Defense in 1949. The Dept. of War became the Dept of the Army, then The Navy Dept. and newly created Dept. of Air Force and the Dept. of the Army were combined to make the Defense Department. Seems like too much work though and a way of confusing everyone.
Salvation there is something terribly wrong in the Whitehouse. George Soros and Trumpka (pres. AFL/CIO). I’ve read (here) Trumpka appears every day, Soros sometimes 2/3 days a week. Why???
I secretly hope that when Trump is president, he arrests Soros on sedition.
All “out” homosexuals and transgenders should be added to that list. They are true mental defectives.
The mentally deficient should not be able to purchase a firearm.
That's the law. And it always has been.
If that is the law, it is an illegal law, as it infringes upon the rights recognized in the second amendment. There is no exception for crazies or freed criminals mentioned. If you can't be trusted to be armed, you should not be running around loose.
Know anyone here on FR that WON’T lend them of of their own if needs be???
They won’t be ‘left behind’ !!!!
“But there is a huge loophole in the aft regulations. They do NOT consider Air Rifles to be dangerous/lethal. So I may have air rifles.”

Oh, that would be a wonderful happening for the whole world, actually. Soros is a pulsing pimple on the world.
Maybe the pimple can be ruptured.
