Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 379 likely Republican Primary voters in Indiana. The poll was conducted from April 28th to the 29th and has a margin of error of ± 5% at a 95% confidence level. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using live telephone calls to landlines and mobile phone numbers of registered voters in Indiana and weighted by anticipated voting demographics.

Trump needs to win big and force Cruz out of the race—But I think Cruze will hang on to June 7th—and even then try to stop Trump at the convention. Cruz would be shut out by the GOPe in any case—no one likes him and he would be a poor president.

Let’s see if Rush and Levin run with it.

Rush did in the first hour.

“Ted Cruz’s Waterloo? “

Perhaps his Alamo, you know, which is apparently a GOOD thing according to Texan Ted Cruz.

the problem with the Cruz/Kasich agreement for Cruz is Kasich’s voters are going to Trump instead of Cruz.

RCP poll average has Trump at +9.3:

I’m starting to feel better about what’s going to happen in Indiana tomorrow.

I was watching the news. TC said he is standing on a cliff.
If he loses Indiana more than likely he will drop out.
Cmon you don’t want to look this foolish

Twenty-one percent of those polled were charted as a 3rd or independent party. Wonder if any Democrat voters were included in the 3rd party affiliation, though the poll criteria is ‘Likely Republican’? If not, the open primary may deliver a substantial added boost for the Trump.

Then, Cruz will announce who he’ll appoint as the new Speaker of the House after he is elected president.

Paul Ryan will start to point out that the president doesn’t appoint the speaker, but Cruz will cut him off and point out the he—Ted Cruz—is the only “constitutional conservative” in the race, and that he knows the constitution.

While Gravis is not the most reliable pollster around, it seems pretty clear that Cruz is in big trouble. If he has any sense of self-respect, he’ll quit after losing tomorrow.

Are you kidding? Cruz will be campaigning after Trump is nominated. Without getting elected to some kind of office in government would mean Cruz would actually have to get his first private sector job.

Rumor has it that Cruz will appoint Kasich White House mailroom clerk because his dad was a mailman and it runs in the family.

This appointment will be the first announcement in Cruz’ almost-cabinet!

Actually, he's going to appoint Kasich as Secretary of Agriculture, because his dad was really the milkman.

I can almost see Cruz standing up and demanding a second ballot after Trump’s 1,300-some delegates give him the nomination on the first vote.

I hope security doesn’t have to carry him out of the convention hall kicking and screaming.

How far he has fallen. It has not been pretty to watch.

I would not be surprised if the cruzer dominated rules committee tries to challenge unseat and remove trump delegates over procedural rules

I would assume Manafort could do the same to cruz delegates in states where procedural irregularities are documented

“Ted said this was his Alamo”

Yeah, then he turned right around and said that he’s in through the convention.

The man lies with every breath.

I tell ya - I hope what is inevitable along with the name of the stage Trump is standing on, is political, economic, and personal freedom in America from unconstitutional government and opression.

Cruz lost me in a big way when he showed such an arrogant and stubborn attitude about getting the NBC thing cleared up by a federal court thus showing a willingness to get nominated and then DQ’d, handing the election to the left wing of the Socialist Party. It showed me he was more interested in his own political future than the future of America.

(To clarify, IMO the left wing of the Socialist Party in America is called the “Democratic Party” while the right wing of the Socialist Party is called the “Republican Party”.)

What’s left are independents at heart like you and I, regardless of whether we’re officially tied to the GOP. It’s actually another 180-degree meaning of “RINO” (”independents at heart”, “IAH”(?) - gotta work on that I guess ) - those of us who are “Republicans” but really are freedom lovers and haters of the leftist-dominated entrenched institutions AKA “establishment”.

Cruz has demonstrated to me that he loses sight of the forest for the trees, whether on the Senate floor or on the campaign trail.
