Indiana Today: DefeaTED Cruz Speaks To Half Empty Room, Polling Affirms The Reason….
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 4/30/2016 | Sundance

Posted on 04/30/2016 6:29:22 AM PDT by GilGil

Donald Trump supporters are a generally happy bunch...

The Cruz campaign in Indiana is in a state of collapse and freefall. By the end of the weekend you can expect the narrative to shift, and the campaign will be pointing fingers toward California (June 7th) because their impending defeat is looming ever more dangerous.

Before getting to a recent poll, lets take a look at the current landscape. Senator Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina spoke at a campaign rally in South Bend Indiana. In a venue capable of holding more than 2,000 only a few hundred showed up...

That’s the second actual ground report in the past 48 hours highlighting exactly the same thing. The first report we shared yesterday...

My post election night math had 1,003 as solid – but virtually identical. So you can see, the probability of Trump earning the remaining 235 (1237 – 1002 = 235), knowing 51 of those are easily won in New Jersey (winner take all June 7th) makes the outcome of Trump winning enough delegates to capture the nomination a very high probability.

That crossing of the ‘inevitability factor’ threshold is what we have outlined as the most dangerous time. The angriest moment in the denial phase is right before the ideologically entrenched accept an inevitable outcome.

I was a “Trump or Cruz” person, happy with either one and happy at the idea of a unity ticket. Happy with Cruz on the SC.

After watching this campaign - I don’t even want Cruz to remain in the Senate. He has no business near the federal gov’t. I’m not worried about him being on the SC because he’s alienated so many other Senators that he’d never get confirmed. A Trump/Cruz ticket would lessen my respect for Trump considerably.

In many ways, this was his race to lose. He did a fine job of it.

"there is something corrosive or toxic about the Washington D. C. consultant class. Conservatives turn their campaigns over to the “professionals,” who enrich themselves and turn the candidate into crap."

Cruz hired young guns, and Jeffroe decided early on to throw everything at the wall and see what sticks in order to make a name for himself.

Cruz agreed because in his mind he is a lock in 2020 against Kanye, one supposes.

Instead Cruz has engendered bad blood to the point where Rick Perry will now definitely run for Cruz's Senate seat in '18 and beat Ted like a redheaded Cubanadian stepchild...while Jeffroe counts his millions...

Most of what has been said about him has either been overblown or fabricated. I’m surprised at how many think he is an abject liar through-and-through and only because he got tagged with the name “Lyin’ Ted.” Too many sheep on FR even. Many have lost any objectivity.

I've made 2 or 3 "Freeper Editorials" tracking some pretty massive lies of Ted Cruz, particularly with regards to his claims that he "never supported legalization." Cruzers on this website always deny it, of course, but it's proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Cruz supported legalization of illegals even as recently as 2015, despite his lies to the contrary starting in late November and climaxing on stage in December.

There has never been a Cruzer who has been able to refute any of the information I have provided, though many of them close their ears and make all sorts of retarded arguments to deny the inevitable.

People who do not know that Cruz is a liar are simply uninformed or have some kind of mental problem.

Maybe his daughter simply does not like being on stage. But, if that’s the case, Cruz should know that. Him chasing her is just plain creepy.

This is a pattern with that girl. She was the one in that video Cruz tried kissing but made faces and cried out, as if she found her father disgusting when he tried to kiss her. She often looks sullen, acts out.

There are problems in that family we are not aware about, but which we probably won't find out about unless the media decides there is a need to take him out.

Cruz is a career lawyer/politician; it is just what he does for a living. The problem arises when he and his followers believe he is anointed to be King/President and a fulfillment of Mormon prophecy. One can hardly expect such to be objective about truth, so the facts are rearranged or ignored to fit the narrative.

Latest CNN delegate count has Trump at 1002 and Cruz at 572. I saw Cruz try to deny this and it was pathetic delusion.

No question. I agree w/Donald....the man is mentally disturbed. He's eaten up by raw ambition.

His southern strategy geared to evangelicals was one of Cruz's serial flops....perhaps his biggest miscalculation. He was supposed to become front-runner w/ the Big Mo from southern voters.

Happy to say---Trump won everything. Evangelicals want to practice their faith unimpeded....and when Trump said he is going to take care of Christian-hating Muslims, that's all they needed to hear.

Cruz will never say anything like that b/c he is beholden to Goldman Sachs' globalist plans.

Jeb-You're-Next was fond of saying...“Trump will NOT be the nominee” .....After Jeb got clobbered, he passed on his strategy. Now Cruz keeps saying "Trump will not be the nominee."

As FReeper usafa92 insightfully posted: Ted’s seen as inauthentic because he is. Basically he’s a fraud and most people see it except for the small remnant of zealots on FR that post ad nauseum articles about Ted.

Ted Cruz is everything that is wrong with the political system. A fake and a fraud who’s a career lawyer and politician, a theorist who’s never worked a day in the real world. That he spouts the conservative mantra from time to time only makes him a huckster using conservatives for his own gain.

A truly detestable man.

“...if poll is reliable...”

No worries, it’s considered a “dirty” (purposely skewed for Cruz) poll with no credibility.

That’s a funny line — especially when you relate it to Cruz.

“I wouldn’t put it past ANY of them not to want Trump dead”

Bill Bennett predicted a very-possible Trump assassination back in November. And compliments of the GOP, as you suggest.

Yes I was thinking of that video too. Perhaps Ted hasn’t changed much since then.

“There are problems in that family we are not aware about,”

It could be related to the fact that (1) Ted and Heidi lived in different states for about five consecutive years, and/or (2) they do no hands-on parenting, but leave that up to hired help.

Mark Levin said the real battle is in Indiana. Is it now in California?

Thanks. I don’t want a false sense of security because November will be here quickly. I hope we’re having record turnout, but I haven’t heard anything about it lately.

I believe NC was one state they were touting as having record turnout for Republicans (along with new Republican registrations) that they attributed to Trump, yet we still only had 0.1% greater turnout than dems.

Don’t remember who, but another freeper told me that dems always have higher turnout during the primaries.

Others (like the pair that hosts that overnight radio show "Red Eye Radio") rudely talk over Trump supporters and belligerently spout polemics, not because they believe Cruz is some religious King/President, but because they are stuck on an ideological litmus test.

Like many others, they miss the forest for the trees. They miss the fact that the electorate is politically nauseous. The "conservatives" had eight years - eight damned years - to prove that they could change things and miserably blew it. There is no longer any confidence in the GOP establishment: Fool me once (McCain), shame on you; Fool me twice (Romney), shame on me. There is no three.

The electorate is nauseous, and NO ONE ELSE has the cure. Trump is the emetic.

.......the relationship with his young daughter and her disgust for him is something that needs to be looked into...Something is not right in that family......

Mother Heidi has said she is never home.....not a nurturer, apparently.

And as for Ted's parental role......yuck.

I am about 12 hours late sending a comment that you are so in line with my thinking.

Only thing I would ad is his not supplying an American Birth Certificate may mean that his Mother had surrendered hers and begun voting in Canada before he was born. ( they both appear on voter rolls) He surrendered his Canadian citizenship recently, by his own words. Is he now a MAN WITHOUT A COUNTRY? (He does not seem to have applied for Citizenship before he was 18 and she did not apply for Citizen born abroad for him after his birth in Canada)

Dual citizenship was not the law at the time of his birth.

I hate this whole birther issue, but think it is one way to prove absolute dedication to this nation...isn’t that what the founders tried to do?

Good information, thanks.

No hand-on parenting huh?

It shows big time.

When his daughter tried to put a cheese head hat on his head, he was quick to lash out, looked angry, and did not handle it properly.

He pretty much brushed her off like a red headed step child.

Any father involved in his small children’s lives would have just taken the hat and smiled at her and said, Daddy doesn’t need the hat, you can wear it.

And put it on her head.
