IT’S OFFICIAL=> Ted Cruz Is Mathematically ELIMINATED from GOP Race – With Chart
The Gateway Pundit ^ | April 26th, 2016 | Guest post by Joe Hoft

As we predicted on April 2nd….

As of today, April 26, 2016, Ted Cruz is mathematically eliminated from winning the Republican nomination outright.

On April 2nd we predicted that Donald Trump would have 953 delegates as of today (needing only 284 delegates for the nomination) and that Cruz would have 550 delegates as of today (needing 687 to win the nomination).

We also predicted that only 634 delegates would remain and therefore Cruz would need more delegates than would be available.

Ted Cruz is eliminated.

It is clear that Cruz was eliminated tonight.

After winning all five primaries tonight — Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania — Donald Trump has 949 delegates so far.

Ted Cruz finished third in Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island.

Congratulations! All of you Trumpsters have effectively ensured a progressive Socialist in the White House, a compliant House and a rubber stamp Supreme Court. I predict the Constitution, or what is left of it, will be a quaint relic in 50 years. Your children and grandchildren will be so proud of you. Let the intelligent, non-threatening replies to my post begin....You can’t hurt me any more than the hurt I already feel for what has happened to this once great county. I’ll be sitting on the beach with a pole in one hand and a beer in the other, I’m done fighting

There are those of you parrot the left culture/media's narrative of Trump and some of you don't even realize it. If you'd bother to find out for yourselves instead of empowering the left/enemedia you would understand much of it is garbage.

Some people here can't stand the leftist media but they still allow them to define things like this. Sometimes I just shake my head at reading these things and see why the enemedia is still so powerful. There are more and more people, like myself, completely tuning them out and it's far better for our country.

Here is a couple of links to get you up to speed as it is never to late to understand who Donald Trump really is:

I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat. My reply:

A FReeper discussion on the history of Trump's conservative pro-America positions

Freegards and Peace, it's so important for all of us to rally behind Trump, to keep the corrupt statist Hillary Clinton, out of the White House.

Rafael Cruz campaign in a nutshell.

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:

haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Latter Day Indiana, you have time. Proverbs

As I have stated so many times on this “Free Republic” site....A vote cast for either Ted Cruz or, John Kasich is a totally wasted, thrown away vote. Some folks just never get it. You can lead a horse to water, but, you cannot make him or her drink!!! Sad!!! These Cruz/Kasich voters join Cruz/Kasich are insuring a Hillary Clinton victory, and at the same time, destroying the entire Republican Party!!!

It will soon be over, because Trump will easily win the Indiana primary, next week. Both Cruz and Kasich are mentally unbalanced, and they serve no one, but themselves. The Ted Cruz rally held in Indiana last evening was a disgrace, with just a meager few hundred people attending the Trump rally this evening with Bobby Knight endorsing DJT will be the barn burner of the day, with thousands of Indiana voters attending and cheering DJT on. to victory.. Go DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

Trump supporters have had to bear up with Cruz supporters bragging about winning in the 2nd round of the convention.

When Cruz withdraws, we can reconcile.

One very bad decision Trump could make is selecting that stupid bastard Kasich as a running mate.

This delusional chap was on TV last night just before the poll closed, as soon as they closed the network cut him off to announce Trump had one.

This low life, scum bag was talking incessantly about Trump this and Trump that. I thought I was listening to a democrat talking to low info voters. Everything he said was a lie or out right distortion.

This guy makes Bahgdah Bob look like a priest.

You know, I wonder about his run in the first place: he was born in Canada to, at most, one citizen parent — running with that as ‘qualification’ doesn’t engender “constitutional conservatism”, but rather something that degrades the Constitution’s natural born citizen requirement by setting such a weak qualification

If Cruz was the nominee, the demorats would have used this issue to great advantage.

It wasn’t the message; it was his strategy (contested convention) and his tactics (playing political games to get delegates) that did him in. We the people saw just another sleazy politician willing to do anything for HIS benefit; not the country.

cruz has come third in so many states now where people actually vote for their candidate that I have lost count just how many it is.

Today and this week he will keep talking about how we should rally behind him and come together , and yet it is he who is pulling people apart in the party.

His ego won’t let him drop out.

He can’t win it outright, but can still play spoiler. Trump still doesn’t have 1237.
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/03/30/upshot/trump-clinton-delegate-calculator.html makes clear Cruz has little chance, but still isn’t shut out from the “contested convention” strategy. Annoying, but still not totally beaten.
