Republican front-runner Donald Trump on Saturday resumed his questioning of rival Ted Cruz’s presidential eligibility, citing Cruz’s Canadian birth.
“The first thing the Democrats are going to do is sue him on the basis that he’s not a naturalized citizen, he wasn’t born in the country,” Trump said at a rally in Connecticut, which holds its primaries on Tuesday, Politico reported.

That would be a given and they will find the “right” judge.
Even though Trump is right, he needs to stop this line of attack
It sounds like he really wants to be President. As a rule, I don’t trust anybody that wants to be President...and I am seldom disappointed.
The internal polls must be different than the ones we’re seeing.

Don't need to. Republicans are doing that for them and they aren't having a lot of luck.
What candidate for President has ever had to negate his citizenship to the country of his birth....a year before his presidential campaign?

Why is King Trumpy still on the attack? His handlers all say that he’ll easily get to 1,237 before the convention. I thought he had this thing in the bag. Why would he still be attacking?
I've been saying this repeatedly and even posted a vanity on it.
It doesn't matter that several judges have ruled in Cruz's favor.
If Cruz somehow is awarded the nomination, or is chosen as VP, HE WILL GET DESTROYED OVER HIS ELIGIBILITY.
Cruz's Mother may have held Canadian citizenship at the time of his birth. And of course, his Father was a Cuban National.
That’s not an attack.
It’s a fact that Democrats will use this.
And it won’t matter how many rulings and which court does it.
Grow up
..because bombast is oh so much easier that consistently articulating a policy position and making it align with what your website says you believe.
They don’t need to sue. They would just need to have Dem Secretaries of State keep him off the ballot, thereby forcing Ted to sue to be put on. They could drag that on through the election and beyond.
It’s academic anyway, Lyin’ Ted won’t be the nominee.
