When it appeared that there was going to be a Trump/Cruz joint venture, Trump politely suggested several times to Cruz that he square this issue with the courts somehow. (I don't remember the details.)

Subsequently, Cruz ignored Trump's advice; and again, Cruz illustrates poor planning and judgement..

Sooo now, Trump is taking advantage of this open issue.
