After the results from the New York Primary started piling in, it was soon realized that Kasich was holding on to a strong second place lead over Cruz. That along with Trump's landslide victory over both of the other candidates, led to some bad news for the Cruz team, coming via the Kasich campaign.

bloomberg.com reports: N.Y. primary “cemented the fact that” Ted Cruz cannot secure nomination outright before GOP convention in July, John Kasich’s chief strategist John Weaver says in campaign memo.

Skepticism doesn’t hurt. As far as Trump goes I think he’s lived his life as a conservative he’s built businesses, he’s made payrollshe’s employed hundreds of thousands of people he understands the dynamic between government and business he’s a natural.

Cruz was John Boehner’s lawyer.

He wrote W’s Amnesty papers.

His wife worked on NWO schemes with Condi.

Cruz recommended John Roberts to W

Cruz is an insider.

What planet are you on?

You miss my point ... whether unintentionally or not.

I asked not just “who are” but “have been.”

You make a good point. He has operated in a certain sense as a conservative. However, his politics of the last couple of decades have not reflected that. In my mind that is the problem. I see two Donald Trumps, the present and the past. I am willing to be convinced that the present is real, albeit newly appeared, but I am not yet. I also don’t buy into the whole “Lyin’ Ted” shtick of his. I don’t believe him. It may have helped him stay ahead in the primary process, but it has also poisoned the well with many conservatives. In other words, it is penny wise but pound foolish. Far better it would have been for him to go with Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment.

Donald is the proverbial bull in the china shop. He may well clear the china shop of everyone and be the proprietor. But what will be left?

If Cruz drops out tomorrow as he should, the party can rightfully unify around trump. Until then Cruz is just stoping trump and deserves ridicule. He is not in this now to get to 1237. He’s in to play games.

My concern as well. And to see former Cruz supporters poisoned makes me very uneasy about the fall and holding the senate/house.

Cruz has no reason to get out. Plenty of western states to vote.

Maybe Trump gets there, but his support base for the fall is thin.

You must live on uranus. Proof of him not being an insider is easily seen as how he is treated by the establishment, like a red headed step child.

He is doing exactly what he promised when we voted for him and that is not to be one of the ‘ole gang’ in DC. There is not a handful of senators in DC that are as conservative and believes in the constitution like him. And no trump is not a senator and probably hasn’t read the constitution in at least 50 years and couldn’t tell you what the Bill of Rights is and what they are.

Far better it would have been for him to go with Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment.

The same could be said for Ted Cruz as well, because he certainly abandoned that commandment.

Oh well, I guess Cruz figured he had to do something, so he turned his back on his integrity and outsider status, went Machiavellian and joined the sleazy GOPe. And it didn't take long for them to rub off on him. Now, the two are indistinguishable from each other...

Senate accomplishments: Green eggs and ham.

Look, he was positioned since day one as Rove/GOPe’s Tea Party Mole.

His pedigree and actions have done nothing but help the Uniparty.

He needs to get in line and back the front runner in this race.

Yes, defending U.S. sovereignty, building up the military, ending Obamacare, controlling our borders, aren't conservative issues.

NY is most definitely in play. Many Sander voters won't vote for Hillary and might even vote for Trump.

And the independent vote will go for Trump as well.

So? Many, if not most of those, won’t vote for Hillary.

Doesn’t account for Independents and Democrats who don’t want Hillary.
