I heard Cruz saying tonight that he has "conservative activists" working the delegate to woo them over to his side. Is this true? Isn't it much more likely that the GOPe insiders are working the delegates? They control the party apparatus, not conservative activists.
The lying part that Trump projects is that Cruz has the audacity to expose Trump’s historical actions and statements.
It might be prudent to not count the Trump chickens before they hatch.
Hey genius, according to scripture the AC is wildly loved and POPULAR.

But only by people whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life! That is roughly 2/3 of mankind, so you won’t be alone. ;-)
Cruz understands the ground game and he's playing by the rules.
Trump is just now waking up to the fact that steamrolling his way to the nomination is not how the game is played.
FReegards!
The RNC is beholden to Romney who is the money wrangler. As a money guy in league with the Bush network, he is the de facto leader of the GOPe.
RNC has the database of all GOP precinct, county and CD officers and officials. Through surveys, the RNC knows who are solidly in #NeverTrump. This intel is handed off to Romney.
Romney’s #NeverTrump members are dispatched to prepare Trump delegates as Cruz double agents. They also team with Jeff Roe’s network to plot shutouts of Trump supporters and delegates.
Cruz did not say ‘my people’ or ‘my supporters’ or ‘members of my campaign’, but rather ‘conservative activists’. The conservative activists are likely Romney minions.
I guess......
Cruz won’t win the election, by gaming the GOP primaries which he can. He just won’t. He does not have a lot of supporters. Gaming primaries won’t win. It just won’t.
Cruz will not win.
He is not a winner. He is a manipulator, and he is being helped by the entire GOPe. He will lose, historically in fact.
I believe he will probably be replaced by the GOP in fact, but that will also result in a failed candidate. The GOP has their strong candidate, right now. Donald Trump.
Ted Cruz needs to stand down. Now.
Well, if you can’t get votes, I guess the next best thing is to try to steal delegates. That strategy warms Limbaugh’s (that’s not stealing, that’s winning) heart.
OK. If you go play a game of football and lose because the other team knew the rules and you didn’t bother to read them did the other team cheat. Really? This is a tactic by Trump so he can get more airtime for free and some free sympathy from those who aren’t paying attention. IMHO, that is.
Yep, it’s called “projection”.
Your opine is solely based on wishful thinking. I opine that is OK because it keeps Trumpies busy patting each other on their backs, while the team is sitting on the 55 yard line.
Did you expect Conservative Southern Baptist Ted Cruz to win ultra-left New York? The state where the governor said conservatives aren’t welcome?
Do you find “whine” such a winning argument?
It seems to be the only hammer you have and so everything you see looks like a nail.
I think you’re addressing the wrong poster.
Oh, they’ll take that touché as a compliment.
As to who might control the party apparatus, that might only be an issue in some of the states in which the delegates are chosen in a more unusual way or in some of the multi-tiered caucus states. In most states the delegates are chosen by a straight vote, and the name of the delegate is listed on the ballot. (Mine was in Tennessee.) Any campaign, large or small, has as much access to those records as the GOP-e. I would imagine that most delegates are strong willed enough to not care about the various arguments either way at this point. If I had been chosen, I would have been interested in listening to what various folks had to say, but I would have still voted according to my personal convictions. (Addendum that I might add: Many are overlooking that many delegates are bound for TWOeven three—rounds of voting, not just one.)
I am a Utah State delegate who has been receiving calls and emails from prospective to earn my vote for National delegates. After a lengthy discussion with a potential National delegate candidate, i found out that the Cruz campaign or related SuperPacs MAY be paying for mailings, email campaigns and advertising, which costing in the thousands to push forth Cruz loyal delegates.
On the ground here, the state delegates running are not as enamored with Ted Cruz as you are led to believe. The Utah Republican “leadership” has no plans to embrace Cruz in the event it goes to a 2nd ballot. That is why Cruz campaign and its Super Pacs are trying desperately to get their delegates selected here and they are willing to pay for it.
If you were supposed to play a game of football and you aren’t allowed to put 11 guys on the field and the scorekeeper keeps ringing up points for the other team...What would that be????
