A republic sure could pass as a oligarchy too
Problem is their are no do overs as the GOP is heading to the slaughter house
If Cruz could win a national election he’d have won at least one county in FL [this is an understatement] and he’d have finished better than a dismal, mediocre third in Ohio.
Yes at the gala, he is such a phony false prophet non-annointed scumbag.
And who should make the rules for selecting a Republican Party candidate: the Democrats? Those who do not profess to be a part of the Republican Party? Independents?
If Trump wanted to be independent, he should have run as one. He is trying the represent the Republican Party. They should be able to control their selection process.
FYI- Still not funny
Its liberals who always call the US a Democracy.
They do it all the time on MSNBC and DU.
But I guess if the Trumpees think that a POTUS can do this
Donald Trump promises to mandate death penalty for killing police officers( The Washington Times ^ | 12/10/2015 | Jay LeBlanc)
then its no surprise that they believe Trump when he calls this a democracy.
All the Dem candidate has to do is show Ted’s pastor pal explaining all homosexuals need to be killed, then introducing the proud and smiling Cruz. The Cuban Canadian would lose ~40 states.
Well, he did spend several pages in his 2000 book, The America We Deserve, criticizing “soft money” and corruption in politics. He didn’t criticize the delegate selection process because I don’t think he realized how relatively little voters matter in the process. I hadn’t realized it was quite this bad before either.
A looser, hm? Gotcha.
Any candidate with 10% of the vote makes it to the next level.
The first candidate to get 50% of the vote is the nominee.
These are the REALLY REALLY REALLY Smart people Trump will hire to negotiate better trade deals with China and Mexico. As you know, it is only bad trade deals that hurt American business and not Taxes, over regulation, Union cronyism and increasing uneducated work force that is hurting competitiveness. Nope, we just need all those smart people waiting in the bullpen to take over and all problems solved!
I’m glad that some of the Cruzers are finally openly admitting that they support the dictatorship of the GOP establishment over regular voters, now that their candidate is fully in bed with the GOPe. Why pretend anymore that they don’t want total domination by the Republican Party leaders (and yes, state party leaders are still party leaders)? To avoid hypocrisy, they should all move away from the now silly “outsider” claim.
You're sneering about Ted Cruz and the GOPe stealing delegates he lost to popular vote in the primaries by landslide margins like that is representational government and you think it's funny?....and you've only been here a few months per your sign up date yet use Free Republic slang from 12-16 years ago?
so who are you really?...zotted in the past.....a retread....why is that fairly common amongst GOPe agit prop sorts here?
stay stuned my friend....your future looks electric
Addendum to previous response.

Stealing delegates?
That is a lie.
But then if you support a guy who has given aid and comfort to my political enemies via donations to say, the Clinton Foundation or members of the gang of 8, who are you really?
FRgards,
Jedi.
No crap. That's how the system's worked for years in most states. Trump's a democrat though, so he wouldn't know that. :)
Most of the states precinct delegates were also from a 2014 electorate. That's THE conservative base, and they don't like planned parenthood supporters like Trump very much.
So who were you here before?
Were you zotted?
You claim on your homepage you were here from when Moby was a minnow so who were you?
Don’t say you can’t recall....no one is that forgetful....it’s like forgetting your first sex partner
They hate their party voters even more than that it seems.
