Cruz's message to Wall Street: Help me
POLITICO ^ | April 13, 2016 | Ben White

Posted on 04/13/2016 3:48:57 AM PDT by Trump20162020

After bashing bankers, including his wife's employer Goldman Sachs, he invites them to a Harvard Club fundraiser.

NEW YORK -- This Monday, assorted bankers, traders and Wall Street lawyers will gather inside the neo-Georgian walls of the Harvard Club in midtown Manhattan to write big checks to an unlikely recipient: Ted Cruz.

Cruz, who attended Harvard Law School, isn't one to trade too heavily on old school ties and friendships at the likes of Goldman Sachs, where his wife works. On the campaign trail, the Texas senator has railed against Wall Street “crony capitalism,” ripped giant banks as “too big to fail” and wrapped himself in populist garb in his quest to take down Donald Trump. But now he's desperate: Cruz, who has already received $12 million in support from the financial industry, needs Wall Street money more than ever.

Given the formidable stakes, many on Wall Street are paying attention to Cruz's overtures. Some say they dislike both Cruz and Trump, but will come to the aid of Cruz as the lesser evil. Others find Cruz's anti-Wall Street rhetoric, combined with his role in promoting Washington gridlock, too objectionable to overcome.

When Cruz gets the money from those 1 percenters his message will clearly be I will help you! I’m sure Soros will be heavily represented there too.

Cruz has had $88 million in donations between his campaign and Super PAC’s. That’s a lot of golden chains.

Its a political campaign...

What do you expect?

What happens in the general if Trump wins? Will he campaign for money from donors? He certainly has had no problem buying politicians in the past... why would he change when he is the one making the money to sell access?

Each one is on average around $66 long...

Man... so you’re saying I can buy access to Cruz for $66... Wow! What a deal!

Cruz stood with Wall Street & Barack Obama campaigning for TPP enabling TPA. This is why. Money. Big money. Millions.

Is it me, or does "deputy delegate" sound official and real? Isn't that fraud?

Does it come with a plastic toy badge that says "deputy delegate" on it?

Are you sure it's not:

"Cruz's message to Wall Street: Help me 'I'll do your bidding'"

Is there something wrong with “money-grabbing initiatives”? Seems one of the candidates has grabbed more money than the others. I don’t see that necessarily as a bad thing.

Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizen, Cuban-Canadian, Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.

Cruz "character":

1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.

2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"

3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.

4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.

5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.

6. Uses Trump's wife in advertising "vote for Cruz" and then screams that Trump hates women, while he "loves them" - keeping few extra mistresses.

Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN

(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

Omg, I heard part of his stumping in CA on the car radio yesterday. The radio guys were having a field day. Tim Conway Jr played Cruz’s sentences over and over, showing how Cruz tried his phony televangelist game out here to us.

What Cruz may not realize is that in our generation’s voting lifetime, CA never mattered in any primary before. No one came here. We may be stupid but when you aren’t used to candidates coming a begging with phony voices and all, it’s laughable to us. We may be Orange County conservatives, but we are an hour from jaded LA and we can be just as quick and sarcastic. No one comes here to beg. No one asks for our vote. It is utter tone deafness to treat Californians like Iowans at this point. NO ONE DOES THIS so we just laugh at it.

Cruz played the “HELP izzzzzzonthe [stage whisper] wayyyy, California” which, when played repeatedly on the radio yesterday, nearly made me drive off the road in tears of laughter.

Three dollar bills actually do look more genuine.
