Washington Times columnist fired after confirming 2 of the now 8 Cruz mistresses [should be 5]

After the Washington Times quickly disassociated from him "for saying a scandal may be true", Johnson seemed to still be a class act. He tweeted that he respected them and had enjoyed working with them. He did not understand though why they would do this via Twitter instead of a phone call or even an email.

However, now there are attempts to smear and discredit him, claiming they have not had a relationship with him in over a year which he soon replied to providing proof of being paid just last month.

Is your real name Agatha Christie?

That was good. Very good.

Maybe the Times reporter was fired for lying about Cruz having mistresses.

>>It still hasn’t dawned on the “off the charts brilliant” guy in the room that he’s been played for the patsy. The establishment snickers behind his back all the while. Such a tool!

I think Cruz understands his “role” very well, and is playing the part accordingly. He knows he will not be allowed to ascend to his throne without the blessing of the power elite, who hole the purse strings and every other kind of string. He knows he has to do as they say if he is to stay ‘in their loop’, and that’s what he is doing. JMHO.

= Option 2: The GOPe decided after Cruz lost AZ so miserably that he was now a liability and was about to crash anyway; the sex story was heating up. They knew someone like the NE would eventually publish it so they decided to do a “Two-fer:” Take out Trump AND Cruz at one time. The GOPe used the imminent release of the NE’s story to run the Melania ad in Utah, knowing this would incite an impulsive (and hopefully inappropriate) reaction from Trump. This would start a Twitter war and could easily be fueled by the GOPe’s media surrogates, which would turn Cruzbots & Trumpbots against each other in droves. And THAT would make it much easier to send Ryan & Co. waltzing into the July convention without much opposition. Cruz would be gone, and Trump would be blamed for his demise. (I personally have many Cruzbot friends who are now livid at Trump & refuse to support him, convinced he’s behind all the sex scandal stories).

I believe #2 is what is playing out hoping they can take out both candidates. Unfortunately, it's being effective if Cruz supporters are blaming Trump. That was the intended part of the strategy.

It makes me sad for this country that so many people fall for the GOPe and enemedia's manipulating tactics. It's especially crazy here since Freepers/conservatives understand the GOPe and the enemedia are the enemies of our freedoms and liberties but yet go back to them time and time again.

I've completely tuned out the enemedia and even the local media when it comes to politics this go round. I just let the news be vetted by Freepers and we usually get it right. Tuning out the enemedia has been quite refreshing and I'm not subject to their lies and manipulations. The enemedia would cease to exist if more people didn't empower them.

Pretty close. Although I think that as time goes on scenario 1 is closer to reality. Too much info that it was the Rubio camp who got this going. I think Teddy might be done before WI.

NE has already baited Teddy to deny, and he did. If my speculation is correct, they’ll bleed out more of what what they have wednesday or thursday. If so, he’ll do his “Elliot Spitzer” soon.

The Cruz ‘scandal’ is completely phony. No facts. No evidence. No proof. No testimony. No documentation. Nothing.

Liberals don't need proof to push a meme.....and now, it seems, neither do "supposed" Conservatives.

I am a little concerned at all you guys using the term “mistress”. Unless the meaning of the term has changed in the past 30 years, I always thought a mistress was a “kept woman” who had her expenses and even housing paid for by her lover. From what details I have been able to find, the women possibly in question were gainfully employed and not “kept.” Perhaps the term lover, dalliance, sex partner, love interest, girl friend, etc. might be more appropriate in this day of independent, employed women. One or more of those terms might more accurately describe the exact nature of any such liaisons, as well as the depth of his possible betrayal.

I have never typed the word mistress in any of my posts. I’m more of a lime in the coconut commenter as that’s a more apt description of what Teddy as likely been up to :-)

There is more supporting (but not 100% damning) evidence today from a writer who said Heidi insisted on only male staffers. So there!

With no sources. Unsubstantiated B.S. unless names are given. You must be part of that if you read it on the internet it must be true, crowd.

Paramour might work at least in some cases, at least for long term connections. How would you classify just a few sex episodes, as one woman explained her liaison.

I've completely tuned out the enemedia and even the local media when it comes to politics this go round.

I sometimes wonder how much social media has influenced their inflated opinions about themselves. It's fun to watch some of them on Twitter basking in the attention from their "followers." I don't understand it, though. The last thing I'd want is hundreds of thousands of people waiting on me to say something.

I've tuned most of the TV news out, too. Very refreshing!

I forgot to add Anonymous in that scenario #1. Throw that in the mix and it makes more sense. The GOPe couldn’t control them.

I hope you’re right about WI. It’s time. Let’s just hope he goes with a short & sweet Spitzer instead of showing us a long, drawn-out Weiner. ;-)

So far, there isn't any proof. But many of you are willing to be just as bad as Democrats so long as it helps your candidate.

Makes perfect sense considering that their candidate is a Democrat.

Could be how narcissistic our culture has become, which is even better for tuning most of the media out.
