Senator Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)80% warned that trade deals are eating away our national sovereignty and threatening our security on Thursdays edition of Breitbart News Daily.
Breitbart News executive chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon compared the issues at stake in Britains upcoming vote on exiting from the European Union with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and asked Sessions if the latter could be seen as essentially an up-or-down vote on national sovereignty of the United States of America.
Sessions said the issue of sovereignty was definitely at stake in these elections.
If you dont secure the border, as Trump said, you dont have a nation. Your sovereignty is undermined, he asserted, referring to comments from presidential candidate Donald Trump, whom Sessions has endorsed.
Secondly, in trade, we need to have trade policies that protect the security and financial security of the United States not create another international commission, like the beginning of the EU, which was a trade agreement where every nation gets one vote, he continued. Like the EU, where Vietnam and other countries get the same one vote as the United States. That is a huge sovereignty issue.

Jeff Sessions bump for later....
The word from Wasserman-Schultz is salivating for Cruz.
But, they are already treating Trump as the presumptive nominee.
Correct
Absolutely. Now with Neil Bush, Jeb and slimeball Mitt on board; who has gotten progressively-worse this year.
Our national sovereignty has been at stake since the US joined that commUNistic trap, the United nations back in 1945.
Joined? We created it with Russia, China, etc.
But I agree, the beast is evil. I am reminded of the stupidity of Dean Rusk.
I’ve said Sessions and Lee have espoused the same political views as Cruz. Yet they’re not hated by everyone in the senate. It must be about personality.
I believe it was Dean Rusk, an Army Captain at the time, who came up with two Viet Nams separated by a DMZ.
I will have to take your word on that; dunno.
Seems to me, that Dean Rusk was the clown who decided that nuclear weapons should be regulated by the United Nations. Which, of course, is always headed-up by some clown from the 3rd world.
Until BamBam changes all that. But then the last sentence would still be true.
“So then why is he supporting a candidate who will almost certainly lose to Hillary?”
He’s supporting Cruz?
The club for growth ? Everyone is for growth. You better the vett the “club for growth “. My guess is they are self serving leeches.
He’s beating Cruz easily.
“My guess is they are self serving leeches”
Your guess is correct.
PING!
Would we be so lucky as to have the GOPe choose this man (who is not currently running) as a replacement for those who are? If so, perhaps I could live with that. Perhaps.
Yea man, what a drag that amnesty lovers are lined up behind Cruz and you guys can’t see the reality.
But hey, go Cruz, let’s prop him up only to sink him and install Ryan. Brilliant plan guys, such political instincts you show tx - right on man
You are correct and I’m stunned that Cruz fans continue to deny the reality.
IF Cruz gets the nom, which I doubt they will let him, we get amnesty - what with all his new found friends and backers!
IF Cruz gets in, he loses to hillary and we get amnesty.
IF they stick Ryan or Romney or Lord knows who in, we get hillary and we get amnesty.
The game is crystal clear now. How I wish Cruz bots would see the light and work FOR America not against her.
Yes you are correct. They might try a Bush/Cruz ticket or a Cruz/Bush ticket. Either way I am out.
