Ok Cruzbots

Ted Cruz whom I originally supported just said that Trumps campaign bears responsibility for the violence in Chicago tonight

I am absolutely appalled by him

Disgusting

He was mine too till I saw that video with my own eyes. Creepy.

The canceled Chicago rally was a strategic moment, Cruz reacted tactically by using the moment to attack Trump.

He should have used the moment to attack Obama and the liberal groups that organized the shut down and he could have gained some badly needed votes.

This will be his Dean scream/Muskie crying in the snow moment.

Trump: Knock the crap out of them, I promise, I’ll pay for the legal fees.

One statement - said in a moment of passion. NOT a repetitive mantra that could fuel the sort of violence people are accusing Trump of instigating.

Ted is a world class jerk for repeating the slimy talking points of our enemies.

I watched it. Cruz talked at length about the general tone etc. promoting violence. At NO time did Cruz say Trump or anyone else was responsible.

You have got to be kidding me. I just watched and listened. Who's rally and what candidate's campaign did you think he was blaming?

Yes sir, this was all part of the Sea Island plan to hurt Trump.

And hoo boy, we can name many who contributed on our supposed side.

Even some talk show hosts who participated in it.

Does anyone here think if my thread was based on a lie that Mr Thompson would not have yanked it very quickly

And spanked me

It’s all over the internet now

The whole world heard the same garbage from Ted I heard

His campaign is over

Sean knows it and didn’t want to talk about it

Trump doesn’t know yet

Just wait till he finds out

“Cruz is NOT STANDING with the thugs!”

You are pissing in the wind. Trump supporters enjoy attacking others too much to listen to reason. There was a time Ted Cruz was admired on FR for standing for conservative principles, while Trump was kissing Obama’s butt - and Hillary’s, and DeBlasio’s. He still is defending conservative thought. There are just a lot fewer “conservatives” thinking.

I’m just as appalled and disgusted, and I see there are 400+ comments already - I will not read any on these threads because I’m so sick of the fighting. Just wanted to add my agreement with you.

Cruz campaign is apparently blanketing my area with robo calls, since he’s holding a rally here tomorrow. I answered four of them today. They couldn’t pay me enough to go and listen to that merchant of slime. (I hate robo calls cuz I don’t get to tell them off.) He’ll be lucky to get a thousand people. If Trump came, he’d get half the population of Springfield. We have decent people here; we’re not like St. Louis. (Sorry to offend any possible St. Louis freepers - I don’t include you - but what I said stands..)

“He then says campaigns have a responsibility to not create an environment of violence.”

Drudge Report says that Mexicans were in on the act. Can you wrap your little mind around why that would be, were they really protesting Trump’s supposed violent language?

You and Cruz just hopped in bed with a four or five filthy organizations.

Has Cruz taken responsibility for the extremism expressed by Glenn Beck?

Cruz said Trump’s campaign “disrespects the voters.” Not great way to win over more supporters

I agree with you. I have never thought blaming voters is a good way to get more supporters.

It will be a Trump/Kasich ticket. Dr Carson could be SOS or some other high ranking post in Trump admin. Kasich is not attacking Trump in any vicious manner. And Trump has not attacked Kasich for months. Kasich is staying in to foil GOPe Rubio. Main negative on Kasich is amnesty agenda, but as VP he will not be calling the shots, and he will be most helpful in Ohio in November.

So at 1:22 when he says “...but in a campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively promotes violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this type of discord.”

Who was he talking about there? Particularly with the last comment who could only be referring to one candidate.

Well it certainly was for me! I really cannot believe what I saw him say!

He is no longer a person I will vote for. I think that Trump gained a lot more support tonight.
