Let's dispel once and for all with this fiction that Trump is short on details.
“I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With todayâs Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.

Trump is a typical NYC liberal, no better than Hillary or any other liberal!

No one has one face.
Trump should give this book to people at his rallies and have them let friends read it....

A documentary about Trumps 757
This convinced me the guy is no joke
But, but, I’m able to CHANNEL Trump and the voices tell me that all this is ONE BIG LIE. He just wants to get elected, and then will turn SHARP LEFT, even making Bernie Sanders look like a capitalist.

Here are Donald J. Trump’s core principles, published in 1987.
1. Think Big
2. Protect the Downside and the Upside Will Take Care of Itself
3. Maximize Your Options
4. Know Your Market
5. Use Your Leverage
6. Enhance Your Location
7. Get the Word Out
8. Fight Back
9, Deliver the Goods
10. Contain the Costs
11. Have Fun
Now, if any of the Consistent Conservatives had applied even part of this over the past 30 years the country would not be in the shape it is in today. Instead Consistent Conservatives have stood, marched, and yammered for “family values”, “small government”, “lower taxes”, etc., all while just the opposite happened, over and over again. One betrayal of principle after another.
Here is what Donald J. Trump says at the end of The Art of the Deal:
What’s Next
Fortunately, I don’t know the answer, because if I did, that would take half the fun out of it.
This much I do know: it won’t be the same.
I’ve spent the first twenty years of my working life building, accumulating, and accomplishing things that many said could not be done. The biggest challenge I see over the next twenty years is to figure out some creative ways to give back some of what I’ve gotten.
I don’t just mean money, although that’s part of it. It’s easy to be generous when you’ve got a lot, and anyone who does, should be. But what I admire most are people who put themselves directly on the line. I’ve never been terribly interested in why people give, because their motivation is rarely what it seems to be, and it’s almost never pure altruism. To me, what matters is the doing, and giving time is far more valuable than just giving money.
In my life, there are two things I’ve found I’m very good at: overcoming obstacles and motivating good people to do their best work. One of the challenges ahead is how to use those skills as successfully in the service of others as I’ve done, up to now, on my own behalf.
Don’t get me wrong. I also plan to keep making deals, big deals, and right around the clock.

So you approve of his touch back amnesty? Actually I can’t find where he mentions deporting any but illegal criminals. Can you post a link showing differently?
“We need real solutions to address real problems. Not grandstanding or political agendas.
That sums up all of Trump’s plans in a nutshell. “
Thank you. The only thing Trump is missing is psychological balance, gravitas, thoughtfulness, sincerity, honesty and principles.
Especially principles. Principles would be nice.
I went to his site and read his papers on Immigration, 2nd Amendment, Tax reform, China Trade and Veterans Admin Reforms. I can’t argue much if at all with his stands on these issues that he is presenting now.
I am concerned on what he will do in the future as in, how will his views change over time? Even his strongest supporters have to admit that there are some topics that Trump has changed views on over time.
Going after the Islamic State
At first, he said: “I’m the most militaristic person there is.”
To back up that statement, which he made in interviews with Fox News and CNN on Aug. 11 and 12, Trump noted he would “send troops in” to Iraq. He’s also said he’d “bomb the hell” out of Islamic State-owned oil fields in Iraq to defeat the terrorist group.
More recently, Trump has been promoting a more non-interventionist policy in the Middle East (which more closely aligns with his general worldview).
On Sunday, Trump told NBC’s Chuck Todd on Sunday that “Everybody that’s gone to the Middle East has had nothing but problems.”
He told CNN’s Erin Burnett on Sept. 28 America should “let Russia fight [the Islamic State],” in Syria but added we could still fight them in Iraq. Trump declined to share details on how he’d differentiate between the two, summing up: “Let them fight it out. Let Russia take care of [Islamic State].”
Planned Parenthood
At first, he said: “Absolutely they should be defunded” In July (The Blaze) and Aug 3 (Hugh Hewitt) interviews Trump reiterated that he supported conservatives even shutting down the government in a bid to cut off Planned Parenthood from some $500 million in public funds.
A week and a half later, Trump told CNN he opposes taxpayer dollars going to abortions but said he’d probably keep the money flowing to Planned Parenthood because of all the “good” things the women’s nonprofit health care clinic does.
Trump claims to be Pro-life now but was Pro-Choice in the past, I hope he stays on the Pro-life side over time.
I’m not a fan of Trump but that is partially because of the inconsistencies I’ve mentioned above. I also have always had great respect for the office of the Presidency. During the Clinton and Obama years I have cringed as they have done things that have, in my opinion, tarnished the respect of the office. Even when the Bushes were in office, love them or hate them, they treated the office and the title with respect. Mr. Trump’s brash, insulting, name calling, insulting way of doing things is just not what I see as Presidential. I know that many Trump supporters say “this is what we like because he won’t take **** from anyone!” Ronald Reagan didn’t take crap from anyone but treated the office with the utmost of respect. He would not even enter the oval office without a jacket and tie on.
As a Cruz supporter, I’m afraid there is no stopping Trump at this point. The above is my opinion and is not an attack on any supporters or on Trump himself, it’s just the way I view things at this time.
Taxes
2nd Amendment
Immigration
VA Reform
China
No position on pre-born genocide? oops.
it is not an issue in this election
it would be a zealot distraction
Context is everything. His "changing" comment was in answer to a specific allegation. As I recall it concerned his appearance as being too uncouth and could he change.
Donald Trump has poor impulse control. He can’t even control his own mouth. And people want him to control the country, based on some set of not-that-great position papers drawn up for him by a few of his employees? One of the last places you would ever want to place someone who is impulsive is in charge of the most powerful nuclear stockpile, and the most powerful conventional military, in the world.
The announcement speeches of Trump, Cruz and Rubio are all anyone needs to see to find out who gave ‘details’. That’s what Trump did...Rubio and Cruz....no so much! The Cruz speech is all about you using your imagination, but he does mention Cuba 6 time and never mentions Canada.
It’s all here, torn down to examine their comments on immigration, trade, education, terrorism, 2nd amendment and more.

Nearly half of all immigrants and their US-born children currently live in or near poverty, including more than 60 percent of Hispanic immigrants.
Every year, we voluntarily admit another 2 million new immigrants, guest workers, refugees, and dependents, growing our existing all-time historic record population of 42 million immigrants. We need to control the admission of new low-earning workers in order to: help wages grow, get teenagers back to work, aid minorities rise into the middle class, help schools and communities falling behind, and to ensure our immigrant members of the national family become part of the American dream.
It doesn't get much clearer than this..
Gee, Trump wasn’t all that concerned when over 200 Polish illegals were doing demolition work for his Trump Tower and only getting paid $5/hour and often not even getting that little money paid to them. You can bet he paid off the labor bosses and the Mob. If he hadn’t, you can bet the job would have been shut down in a New York minute.
That may be true, but there is no hiding the fact, Trump's positions on a number of issues have 'evolved'.
He's saying all the right things now, but he did't always, is my point.
Buyer Beware.
