Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson tells Jake Tapper he is "not getting any pressure" to suspend his campaign despite dismal results in N.H. and is confident to win South Carolina.

Or shows how much more he distrusts TrusTED.
Behind Gilmore?
Concur on all points.
Stay in Ben. Don’t give it up. Stay in to dash those vicious rumors. I know he will stay. He said so yesterday.
I suppose if you consider the candidate that gets no votes to come in behind the candidate who gets the fewest actual votes then you would be right.
Most of Ben’s voters would never go to Cruz. They will go with Trump. That I can tell you.
He’ll come in ahead of Kasich.
Sounds like common clueless math. :)
Go home, Ben. You’re drunk. And you need to do laundry.
One poll has Dr. Carson at about 8.7%; so though that is not winning, maybe it gives him a shot for one more week. I thought he wasn’t invited to the debate.
The title:
carson, I think I can win SC, I think I can win SC, et.
DT, I can win SC, I can win SC...
see the difference?
Personally, I pray Cruz wins but I prayed and fasted about Obama. Thy will be done, Father!
Was obviously over his head from day one, and really should have gotten better counsel before getting in in the first place.
One word.
Delusional.
Sorry, Ben.
Carson has to be counting on a heavy turnout and getting all the black vote. Even then, he’s just an also ran.
Good idea. I's important to always have clean underwear when going anywhere.
Why is that?
In case you get in an accident.
If I get in an accident how will clean underwear help anything?
Carson can beat Bush and Kasich in SC. I want him to stay in.
Carson apparently still has money to burn. That will be a motivator as well.Kasich is done, so Rubio is his easiest target.
Why do you care that Carson is still in the race?
There was a time I thought we should consider sending money to Carson, but before I talked to hubby about it Carson said something making me think he was too soft on the Second Amendment for my tastes (meaning WAY to soft for hubby's). At the time I discovered that Carson's money came mostly from people who paid less than $50, which I believe is still the case; I thought -- and still think -- that showed he was "the people's candidate" far more than Trump is.
Unless he does much better in South Carolina than I believe he will, however, if Carson keeps on he's going to start looking a lot like a TV evangelist spending poor people's money on luxuries and ego. People are already saying it; I don't believe it yet but I'm worried.
Do you think that every Carson supporter is automatically going to jump on the Cruz train?
No. I think if Carson drops out, his voters will mostly go to Trump. I thought that before Iowa, and think it even more likely since. I know a lot of people who were actively working for Carson shifted to Cruz, but I'm not convinced the average Carson supporter will go that route, because the Carson supporters I know are angry and want a total outsider, so Trump is their second choice
