Rush: If Conservatism Is Your Only Priority, There Is No Choice Other Than Ted Cruz
The Rush Limbaugh Show ^ | 2/10/16 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 02/10/2016 2:17:21 PM PST by TBBT

If conservatism is your bag, if conservatism is the dominating factor in how you vote, there is no other choice for you in this campaign than Ted Cruz, because you are exactly right: This is the closest in our lifetimes we have ever been to Ronald Reagan.

***snip***

But for those of you that conservatism's the answer and conservatism is the way, you have no choice here. Ted Cruz has got to be your guy. There's nobody even close. Nobody.

You can be pro tax anti freedom all you would like. Just don’t suppose I’ll not fight that form of enslavement with everything I have, regardless of who else in history has favored it.

Cruz paid his loan back, which was secured with his own assets.

Trump owes big banks more than $150 million that he may or may not pay back. He’s weaseled out of millions in loans in the past. He will do anything to screw over the banks if he can.

You mean loans secured with his own money that he paid back?

Trump never personally guaranteed his over $150 million, and probably closer to $500 millions in loans; so just who is owned by the big banks? Trump.

"'Conservative' means Nothing. 95% of the traitorous scum in the Republican party call themselves 'Conservatives'."

Jim, is that FR's (Your) position, nowadays?

I'm finding it hard to believe that this thread is taking place on the FR I know and love... :-(

I will vote for Cruz if he is the nominee but I dont think it will be him.

Trump has negatives for sure most related to his personality. But he ha shown tremendous courage in taking on the elites and political correctness. He has also changed the entire election on multiple issues.

“Can’t be, FReepers keep saying Rush is GOPe and hyping Rubio.
Dang it’s hard to keep up around here....”

Is Sarah Palin still persona non grata? Ann Coulter?

As heated as things have been here recently, maybe John Robinson could set up a new room for those of us who get `squirrely’ occasionally and require ostracism.

A place of rehabilitation, those sentenced here are restricted to posting in R&R in order to separate the bad smelling goats from the sweet sheep, without the severe punishment of total banishment from FR.
The good could visit and post, but the bad and ugly are jugged and confined until placed on probation into genpop, or until sentence is served and the offender released. Or bail could be posted on promise of good behavior.

“Trump is putting his money where his mouth is.”

Debatable. He uses other’s money first. I was reading about him promising to build the greatest golf course in the world in Scotland. It’s lost money the last 3 years.

But there is always Dubai...

“Damac said the project would have an estimated development value of Dh9 billion and that it intended to finance half of the scheme through off-plan property sales.

It added that it would also possibly seek bank loans to finance the project due to its size.”

Cruz introduced the amendment because he knew it was a poison pill, and it exposed the corruption related to the main bill; so much so that the Senate never even brought it up for a vote.

The truth is, Cruz’ actions were primarily responsible for killing illegal immigration amnesty; or are you too stupid to understand that?

Well its not my only priority and a lot of good electing a conservative does if he is forced to spend his time apologizing for being one because of political correctness, big donors, and the media. I want someone who is immune to those groups and can leave them impotent. I really do love Cruz and I’d be delighted with him on a ticket as VP but most of all I want someone who won’t just stand and talk but will be ruthless. I don’t want someone who reinforces the idea that if I don’t say this or that the right way I want someone who is a success in the private sector. I’m also not interested in the close proximity of Goldman Sachs in the equation.

Cruz also has been sending me email just telling big lies about Trump. He’s been associating with that whiner and Nazi baiter Glenn Beck. I’ll vote for Cruz if he wins but I’m not voting for him in the primary which is something I’m really surprised to find myself saying. I suppose I want Washington DC to be rocked at its very foundations and that’s not going to happen electing a Cruz.

When Rush puts up $1 million of his own money to help veterans,

I don’t doubt for a moment that Rush has donated a fortune to charity, and many of them veterans groups.

I was ecstatic to hear Rush say this today. I hope Cruz uses the audio in an ad.
