I thought Christie did very well too, and Jebbie probably satisfied Peyton Manning. But Trump, Cruz, and Rubio have not been hurt; maybe Rubio did a little less well than Trump or Cruz but not by much.

Trump is better than anything the Democrats can run.

Bush, Christie weak on abortion and women in combat. Would have liked to hear Cruz and Trump's positions.

Yes! Me too!

The biggest problem I had with Jeb’s sweet spot comment was that he made it sound politically calculated rather than it being a principled and thoughtful position.

I am happy to discuss or debate the issue with someone who has a position for a reason, and sometimes we will simply end up disagreeing. But I cringed when I felt he was staking out what he thought was the most acceptable answer rather than what he believed was the right answer.

Trump has done well. Cruz had some good answers as well.

I wish Rubio would talk less and Carson would get more time.

Those lawyers show they have studied and know the issues in their answers. I appreciate that depth.

I agree, depth on the issues is good.   But if given a choice, I would rather have a guy who's a quick study and has the experience of building things (a governor or master builder).

I'll take Caesar any day over Cicero.

Disagree. Cruz was by far the most Presidential.

I have noticed how certain misrepresentations and lies are repeated as if some posters received the same talking points.

Rubio, Cruz and Trump did well.

But who will win over the actual NH voters, who lean Left?

Not sure who is debating. Isn’t this a Q&A session with the moderators in the spotlight and running the show picking and choosing who answers which question and not giving anyone enough time to answer with the depth of anything but a soundbite? Nope I don’t see a “debate” here.

Trump does have plans behind his statements. Read his books. He has stated many times that on the military he does not want to make specific plans publicly due to security issues. But he gives the general idea of the direction he will take. It’s clear to me that he will be a CEO because that is what he does. That is what we need.
