And you know the lead-in sentence is an out-and-out fabrication. Made up out of whole cloth. He’s painting a little picture he conjured up in his mind before he ever got to the rally (if he even bothered going to the rally).

It’s what these people do.

Wow, I can’t believe there are freepers quoting this screed as if it’s valid.

You don't get it.Part of the value of FR is to look at the nonsense being generated out there. If all we posted was happy clappy articles, it would get boring fast.

In fact, I have seen posters here who, if they had any integrity, would be agreeing with the writer.

I really hope you’re right.

I still see a pro big government guy who has too many “established” friends. I think he’ll say and do anything to take power. I hope I’m wrong. I live in Alberta and I may need somewhere to retreat to. I’m extremely passionate about freedom and rights. I hope there is hope this fall.

I really don’t see it with Trump, I think he is misling a lot of people, but again, I hope I’m wrong.

Time will tell, but the biggest question is, when will Americans do what is needed to restore the Republic? What will it take? How long do we all wait? Do we wait until there is no hope of victory?

I can say this with all certainty. Regardless of who wins in the fall, if even there’s an election, there will be a major need for freedom loving people to step up to the plate. The other side is too deeply entrenched to let go now.

Cruz does need face powder when he goes under the lights. His skin does shine - it’s almost a form of pathetic fallacy, his outside reflecting on his oily demeanor and behavior.

Never mind that this plan would yank health insurance from millions of people and blow a hole in the deficit, adding mountains to the nation's $19 trillion debt that he decried elsewhere in his sermon.

The hypocrisy in this statement is as palpable as winds in a category 5 tornado.

Would this wonkett decry deficit exploding new programs offered up by a Democrat candidate?

Considering the new spending proposed by Bernie in his speeches would add up to 2/3rds of the GDP I think Cruz's proposal is rather mild. After all the deficits created by repealing ObamaCare would be temporary.

who've lived under Communism for years are flooding over our porous borders in record numbers. Could some of them be as dangerous as jihadists?

Absolutely! The jihadis were not the first ones to introduce suicide bombers! That's right, it was...gasp...communists. It's a fact, jack.

"Repeal Obamacare" and "flat tax" are words that appeal to the deepest, most primitive part of the conservative lizard brain. Any downsides can just be blamed on liberals later on.

Dear Gary Legum,

Obamacare has DENIED more people healthcare insurance than it has helped get healthcare insurance. Oops! (a little wisdom for you):

The liberal is the child. All things are new, all things are possible. All is kindness and lovable little puppies. The Conservative is the father who whispers in the child's ear that most things have been tried, possibilities have problems, kindness is expensive and lovable little puppies may turn into mean ugly dogs. - FReeper Captain Compassion

All scribblers for Salon are the same. They all present every Pubbie candidate as a wild-eyed fanatic. None of those Salon stooges ever bothers to discuss actual politics.

Every national election is a fight between the leftist saints and the Republican devils. The Dem candidate will prevent the poor and oppressed from starving to death and other calamities that would be inflicted on them by a Republican admin.

Hey, can anybody name people who starved to death during the last Bush presidency? Have any members of the thief class had their benefits revoked and been thrown out into the street?

Of course, conservative Pubbie candidates are threats to the advancement of socialism so they must be depicted as semi or fully insane. Substitute the dates, and I've read the same screed by a different lefty bullsh*t writer many times before in the last forty years.

He has to talk about someone. Talking about Rubio and Cruz gives them free media time. DT doesn’t need the assistance. Think Cruz would choose Rubio as VP?
