Well, obviously Trump is a neonazi white supremacist (/s). That's the logic by which Cruz has been repeatedly d@mned by his attackers when it comes to where his wife worked, where his staffers used to work, etc., not to mention Mr Beck, who supports him, so those who attack Cruz call him a 'crackpot by association'.
That does not mean, however that that super PAC isn't squirting the 'oily' theme into their stuff--although I can't say that because I haven't seen their stuff, nor would I ever put it past the Liberals who speak snark as a first language to belabor the subliminal 'greaser' meme.
It's juvenile, tedious, and arguably racist, and immediately for me means the rest of whatever the pejorative is contained in belongs in a well managed manure disposal (which is usually the sort of publication it came from).
