Ted Cruz Will Get Crushed in New Hampshire
daily Beast ^ | February 4, 2015 | Tim Mak

Republican operatives from inside and outside New Hampshire agree: Sen. Ted Cruz is all but doomed to finish below the top tier in the Granite State.

The winning coalition Cruz put together in Iowa won't work in New Hampshire, they say, pointing to the fact New Hampshire has the second-lowest rate of church attendance in the country. So the edge that Cruz had among evangelicals isn't particularly applicable there.

"I would advise Cruz to skip New Hampshire and go to South Carolina. I believe you shouldn't compete anywhere where it's not a favorable battlefield to win," said Stuart Stevens, a top adviser to Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign.

So?
New Hampshire doesn’t go ‘Pubbie in the General anyway. Who cares what NH voters think?

Why read any further?

LOLOL. Too funny.
You know Cruz will be in the winner center at the debate Saturday, right? He has the most delegates.

If they are basing their calculations on evangelicals alone, they would be right. But Cruz has also been courting the libertarian vote, which is significant in NH. Ron Paul got 23% in NH in 2012. And with Rand Paul out, there are no other candidates appealing to that group.

Starting to see Trump slip a little, I see. It will be interesting to see tomorrow with the effect of yesterday’s “Trumpertantrum” in the mix.

Tonight is another poll. I won’t be happy until we see low single digits for Cruz. However, I hope he gets kicked to the kiddie stage if he ends up in single digits. If he is double digits then he can be on main stage.....but hopefully he doesn’t get that high.

Feather in his cap. If the marxists in NH like you... that’s actually a problem.

After several failed attempts to reach the votes, Cruz gave up and insisted that he didn’t want them anyway because they were probably Liberal.

Ok if it makes you feel good. After Wednesday he will be far down the delegates list. I wouldn't be so arrogant quite yet because after this debate, Cruz might be at the kiddie table (if he gets single digits).

Somebody should tweet Ted’s dropping out of the race just before the voting starts.

As usual Ted Cruz will exceed expectation, and most likely place in the top two.

One of the bluest of blue states prefers Trump and Rubio over Cruz? First, I'm surprised Kasich or Bush was not in third place. And second, this sounds to the red states like more of an endorsement for Cruz than a rebuke.

Trump is very popular in left-wing NH. Conservative Ted Cruz, not so much.

The liberal rag “Daily Beast” shares your joy!

NH is a bad fit for Cruz and I think a lot of people in NH resent the Iowa winner...

With that said Rubio is coming up fast and Trump better watch his six and concentrate fire on Rubes not Cruz.
