No, Cruz Didn't Win Iowa By Cheating. Here's Why Trump's Pushing That Narrative.
Daily Wire ^ | February 3, 2016 | Ben Shapiro

...

Yesterday, Trump ripped into Cruz for supposedly lying about Ben Carson's decision to leave Iowa early, as well as the Cruz campaign mailer telling Iowans whether they had voted in previous elections. He then added, "No, it's honestly really, really dishonest. And I think I know why. You know why? Because he was born in Canada...He gets the nomination, they're going to sue his ass off."

...

Let's go through these bizarre, inane assertions one-by-one...

I have not understood the way Trump has gone after Cruz in the last two weeks. It made no sense to me because the real problem the republican voters I have talked to have with Trump is that they think Trump is a lose cannon. So a smart man at this point would try his best not to come across as one.

The only thing I can think of is that position to position Trump can not win the base or he is what I though in the beginning Clinton's Perot of this election who figured out he might just be able to pull off a win.

I think at this point he is going to destroy his chances and Cruz's chances with this absolute polarization and give this thing to Rino Rubio. I am thoroughly disgusted. We are all going to lose big time in the end because of this stupid crap. I am getting to the point I can not stand him or his supporters and I needed to be able to vote for him without Cruz.

“I am getting sick of people joking about Trump’s “hairpiece”. It’s not a hairpiece.

It’s a comb-over. “

These are the same people that think Palin said she can see Russia from her house. Very slow learning curve.

Trusting CNN’s report

OKay. That's NEVER a good idea. Shows little discretion and poor judgment.

Trump as a businessman, will take anyone’s money who is not a terrorist. And if they are a terrorist, he still might take their money but not deliver his end of the bargain.

Your comment has no bearing on who is running the behind-the-scenes of the Cruz campaign.

Trump and Soros was a real-estate transaction. It is not enduring, it was not political.

Cruz’ campaign chief’s ties to Chertoff are political and are enduring. There is the key difference.

Not sarcasm. This was supposed to distract the conservative base so that JEB! could get in without us. Donald Trump messed that up with his broad appeal to regular Americans who had given up on the political process. Now “they” have to use Ted Cruz to take down Donald Trump. “Not going to happen!”

I will vote for Cruz if he gets the nomination, but it will strictly be over second amendment and judicial appointment issues. Other than that, I am full aware that Cruz, to me, is a phony and is cloaking his misdeeds in piety. But, you know, do what ever you want. Look at the utter lies Cruz’s PACs have spread about Trump and Obamacare. Look at the smear that Cruz let out about Trump and the last debate. Fact is, you just can’t stand your guy having to face what he really does: illegal mailer and Carson voter scam. And that is notwithstanding his TPA/Corker votes.

Neertheless, Cruz still lied and had his folks lie. That is a sin.

A couple hours before a primary election, you don’t tell voters that another person running in the election is going to drop out after the election, so vote for me instead.

You wait until after that person is out of the race to go after their voters. That is the honorable thing to do. To do so at the time of the election essentially is, in fact, a sleazy move.

I don’t expect that any Cruz supporter will see it that way, and that’s to be expected in a primary. Trump supporters aren’t looking to see their candidate in a bad light either.

But is Ted Cruz a sleazy politician? Yes. Clearly he is. He is most certainly not what he is passing himself off to be.

If this line of attack going to help Trump? No. Does it make him appear like a sore loser? Yes. Advice to Trump, if you want to defeat Cruz, then you are going to have to tell people exactly why you are a better choice. You are going to have to sell yourself, otherwise, you will lose.

There you go, honest assessments of them both.

It doesn’t matter.

Doing sleazy things makes Ted Cruz a sleaze.

Cruz needs to get on the phone and tell his PAC buddies to stop lying about Trump. Otherwise Trump is going to keep at Cruz.

Cruz didn’t ‘win’ anything. He spent 7 bucks for every 3 Trump spent, and only edged Trump 8-7 in delegates. By contrast, my state of Arizona will hand it’s winner 56 delegates. Trump leads here by 23%.

Yeah, and so predictable that neither Trump or the MSM are picking up on it. And as you said, all the more reason to vote for Ted Cruz!

> “Heidi Cruz went to work for Goldman Sachs in 2005.”

Doesn’t bother me in the least. GS is a company of tens upon tens of thousands of employees. She was a lower level manager who did well.

Her membership in CFR is also not bothersome. CFR has a lot of members who are not ‘new world order’ or whatever.

My sister is a reporter for a major national media outlet. She’s East-Cast, her company is East-Coast based. she’s a damn good reporter, ergo, there’s no mystery how she hooked up with them.

Heidi did well in her career and she took the best opportunities of status and prestige that were available to her. Ted did likewise.

Not all people on the East-Coast can see that GS, CFR and all the rest need to die for their culpability in assisting the demise of the US republic. They will in time, but they’re not there yet. In the meantime, the college kids think GS and all that are the creme de la creme, and they will follow their career paths into those places.

There’s an old saying, ‘Don’t let cheaters prosper.’

Cruz and team doing lying tricks fits the bill.

Nope, it originated with Ben Carson, who told CNN, who then issued a report that sounded like Carson was dropping out, and THEN it was picked up by the Cruz campaign and others. For instance, the Rubio campaign thought Carson was dropping out too, and did the exact same thing. But not a word out of Trump or the MSM about it. I wonder why?
