Yesterday, Trump ripped into Cruz for supposedly lying about Ben Carson's decision to leave Iowa early, as well as the Cruz campaign mailer telling Iowans whether they had voted in previous elections. He then added, "No, it's honestly really, really dishonest. And I think I know why. You know why? Because he was born in Canada...He gets the nomination, they're going to sue his ass off."

Let's go through these bizarre, inane assertions one-by-one...

Carson had a lot of evangelical support. Cruz’s sudden “conversion” over the weekend, and the rumor planting that Carson was dropping out could easily have swung 1%-2% to Cruz. Trump has a point, but it’s best to lick his wounds and focus forward.
I am amazed at how dumbed-down some posts are becoming at Free Republic.
Why isn’t the Donald tearing up Rubio? His staffers did the same thing. Who stepped up to the plate? Cruz.
Making mountains out of molehills seems to be the basis of Trump’s campaign.
Cruz opened the can of worms lying about everyone’s record, unethical mailers, lying about Carson, lying about his record. He’s usually so nasty no one bothers to go there with him and throws up their hands. Not gonna happen this time. Speaking in Tongues ain’t gonna win NH. He’s had 12000 people to get 50,000 Iowa votes. At that ratio he’ll need over 25,000 people working this week in NH. That isn’t going to happen either. The self righteous corner of the interwebs you guys live in is going to get smaller and smaller and smaller.
you are right. posts are mainly bickering and gossip. no one is talking ideas, platform or anything more than gossip. sad.
What flavor Koolaid is the Cruz campaign passing out today?
I’ve been saying that forever it seems. Everyone thinks I’m crazy.
False narrative. He may not have won by Cheating, but he did Cheat.
Right...Trump would’ve said that Carson had been sleeping...
You nailed it, the apology was the right thing to do.
You know other irony is Rubio’s campaign did the same thing but they are exempted by all the media. I’m voting for the guy the cartel really doesn’t want - and there is only one.
At this point, I am not sure when Ted Cruz knew he was recruited by the NWO crowd to run this “anti-establishment revival” campaign. I am sure he now knows what is going on, and they have convinced him that he can’t refuse to continue.
Blaming overzealous staffers for the dirty trick played on Carson is just hooey...it was premeditated at the highest levels and originated with Rep. Steven King.
He’s having a melt down...he’s not capable of being the president. He has no honor, so I’m not sure why you believe him on anything.
You’re missing a little tin foil on your hat, right there!
Why is no one talking about Rubio’s comments about Carson leaving? or Huckabee”s? Doanld Trump and his supporters hate Cruz because they feel their guy was humiliated but Cruz. Trump has been my second or third choice up until now. As of today I would choose any republican on the ballot over this whiney little spoiled brat and his dishonest attacks on everyone. He seems to feel he is required to destroy any and all creditability of every Republican who is running, thereby clearing the way for his very dear friend Hillary.
1. Carson outperformed his polls by 2 points!
2. Why does Trump assume all of Carsons support would have gone to Cruz?
LOL. Soros funded Trump overpriced Chicago tower to the tune of 160 million.
And there is more... so how about this one that gets completely ignored: Heidi Cruz went to work for Goldman Sachs in 2005. She was an executive there when Goldman was massively selling those phony structured mortgage packages on one hand and shorting them in the market on the other: This was the key catalyst to the financial collapse in the country. Check the timeline yourself. Read up on what Goldman was selling and what they were shorting on the market.
I doubt if Cruz supporters will read up on it. Neither will they read up on the fact that the Cruz Goldman Sachs loan was not against assets. It was against a margin account at Sachs to which Heidi was an executive: There is no repayment timeline on margin loans and all you need is one third the value of the loan in your account. So there.
Well, Cruz’s team was specifically telling them to vote for Cruz. They were not saying, hey Carson is out, so vote for anyone else. Thank you.
Did you forget the /sarc or is this what you really believe?
