Worst news of the evening has nothing to do with Cruz or Trump: it’s the rise of Rubio.
Trump is a winner and is an expert strategist. He will learn from Iowa. This is his first real election. Not bad.

I feel the same. The MSM, Fox included, is going to be absolutely unbearable. I am a Trump supporter, and though I would have liked to see him win tonight, the real disappointment is that Rubio has undoubtedly moved a step closer.
Congrats to Rubio from a Cruzer. Praise God Cruz won. One of them will eventually defeat Trump. Amen.

I love FR and have actually financially donated on a few occasions. But back in 2012, there was a very strong pro-Gingrich contingent on here.
I remember posting something less than flattering about Gingrich and a couple people were audacious enough to ping Jim Robinson about it.

If Trump, Cruz, and Rubio each get 5 delegates, and Carson gets 1, he’s the kingmaker - his 10% show will go to one of those three - probably Rubio if I know my kids.
Rubio talking about the constitution. What a joke the guy is so low in the polls . Iowa makes guys like this look like he has a chance. Which he doesnt. I’m a christian, but Iowa gives them votes just because they say the word God.
Yeah, weird isn’t it? I’m a little let down, but not really. The Arch-Conservative of the Senate won Iowa, bhoom! Fact on the ground. Will require reflection.
Yes....the story is Rubio gave Trump a ride......pretty amazing....but then Rubio’s the New Establishment guy.....he’s fully beholdened to the Party Establishment.
