I live in CA in the so called Conservative area of South Orange County. So far I have met nobody around here that is Voting Cruz, at least in the Primary.

Cruz has as much a chance of winning here as you do.

I and my family have lost a lot of respect for Ted Cruz, from his willingness to legalize millions and millions of illegal aliens to sending out mailers to expose people for not voting for him. In fact, for the first time tonight, my very conservative mother said she would rather have Marco Rubio over Ted Cruz.

Odd that Trump flamed out to Rubio in urban areas.

Cruz apparently did have the ground game that his folks touted.

A victory for talk radio too - most if not all of those guys were touting Cruz hard for weeks.

I’m glad we move away from Iowa finally - it’s a weird state that doesn’t ultimately have much impact.

We’ll see how Trump responds and moves forward. Delegate wise it’s a wash and winning next week in NH puts him back on top.

Rubio is a concern. I expect the Bush people will coalesce around him.

Trump may win NH, but his alleged lead in SC will disappear soon. Once Trump has to start getting donations, and he will, his his claim that he doesn’t owe favors to anyone will doom his candidacy. You can bet your last dollar that he is not going to be spending a billion of his own money in this race, which is what it would take.

Rubio won’t be able to get away with his magic cuban routine in SC that he pulled off in Iowa. SC is much closer to home and folks will remember his caucusing with Schumer on Amnesty.

I'm not sure why you think race is relevant, much less in ALL CAPS. I am a Cruz supporting traditional Roman Catholic generally respectful of Trump supporters; I do not know if you consider me a "holy roller", but many of those Evangelicals and conservative Protestants I know are certainly not simpletons.

One issue some of us have with Trump is that we don't want a president who will "run the USA", as if it were a corporation with a very large Board of Directors.
