Sarah Palin: ‘Wasn’t Hard’ To Choose Between Donald Trump And Ted Cruz
Breitbart ^ | February 1,2016 | by CHARLIE SPIERING

Posted on 02/01/2016 8:15:26 AM PST by Hojczyk

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin joined the Today show to talk about her endorsement of Donald Trump as Iowans go to caucus tonight for the Republican presidential primary.

is was probably a tough call for you, between Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% and Donald Trump, began Savannah Guthrie during the interview.

t wasn’t tough,” Palin interrupted.

Really, Guthrie replied.

No, it wasn’t tough, she repeated.

Palin explained that she was happy to endorse Ted Cruz in his Senate race, because he was a fighter for the American people but that she wanted him to stay in Washington D.C.

want to keep him in the Senate, and I want Donald Trump to be our president, she said.

Guthrie asked Palin if Trump was necessarily “the godly candidate” for evangelical voters.

I hope voters aren’t trying to find the most Christian-y godliest candidate out there because who are we to judge one another’s level of faith – our Christian quotient if you will, she said.

Host Matt Lauer suggested that perhaps Donald Trump wasn’t enough of a true conservative, citing his Democratic record.

Palin referred to Ronald Reagan, pointing out that she was “glad” that Donald Trump was a candidate that had “seen the light.”

Later in the show, Palin was asked by co-host Willie Geist about what she brought to Donald Trump’s campaign by endorsing him.

I’m very, very conservative, very much a right-winger, proudly clinging to my God, my guns and my Constitution, she said. “I think I speak for a lot of Americans who have those same values.”

Another thread mentioned Steve King was in bed with Chamber of Commerce (Amnesty) - not surprised he claimed/lied Sarah was bought.

Actually, of considerable importance was the formation of Young Americans for Freedom. Some of the bigger names of today were members then and have now grown to and age of importance in executing and influencing conservative values. Trump is usually happy compared with Cruz, although he does tend toward hyperbole it is hyperbole that many agree with.

Regarding Stalinists after WW2, my father was fighting a communist takeover of his white collar union and other related struggles in the port of New York area. The same thing is happening now with the extreme left Marxist/Leninists trying to take over most of the left. For example infiltrating and trying to gain control in the Green Party. These are folks from the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) which is a dedicated revolutionary party. This is NOT Bernie’s type of socialism/social democracy which favors the Scandinavian model rather than the Soviet/Russian model promoted by the PSL.

Yeah, if one person out of the blue could breach security, what could a mob of people do?

The military’s command center in Colorado is within a mountain that’s naturally hardened against the effects of an EMP. And the bunker under the White House is hardened. So if Obama is in South America when it happens he would probably command the military remotely, but even if they came in to control the violence that doesn’t give food, water, heat (if it’s in November or December when it’s cold), medicine, etc for people. DC wouldn’t be getting any taxes from people. I don’t think there would be any electronic banking possible so there wouldn’t be any compensation for work, unless a barter system of some kind...

I think people should really think about what it would be like. A law is really only meaningful if it can be enforced, and Obama has given us a taste of lawlessness.

I’ve posted elsewhere the connections between Obama and the communist and Islamist wings of the communist-Islamist alliance that perpetrated the coup that put him into office in 2008. I don’t use the word “coup” lightly. The elements of a coup are there. And those who went to that kind of trouble to put him into office (and there’s a story yet to come out that reveals the lengths they were willing to go to, to KEEP him in office as well - unbelievable if there wasn’t physical proof of it!) expected BIG, BIG payoff for their trouble. Obama said he would be POTUS for 8-10 years. I think people need to seriously consider what that means, particularly in light of the REALLY, REALLY precarious, fragile position he has put the people of this country while strengthening the communists and Islamists who put him into power.

Our enemies are dead serious. Iran has always said they would use a bomb on the USA once they had it. Obama has made sure they have it by the end of his 2nd term. There’s a hole in our southern radar defense. Iran and North Korea have both practiced the delivery system to do an EMP attack on us via that hole. Hamas and Hezbollah operatives have been let in through our southern border with whatever weapons they brought on the unchecked flights from Iran to Venezuela...

The picture is very, very serious. I hope SOMEBODY takes it seriously, ‘cause things could go down very, very quickly.

Jealous because she went for Trump? Would you say the same if she picked Cruz?

What was politics always?

It's ALWAYS been a "show" and the candidates merely actors upon a stage...with a h/t to Shakespeare!

Go back to Ancient Rome and read up on the leading lights of the Republic and afterwards as well.

Then go back to the FFs !

Flags, bands, parades, oratorical speeches, and special guests; even the wavings of "the bloody shirt"; for crying out loud!

I’ve heard of it and would love to read it. Haven’t yet.

I do know we’ll be in a world of hurt if we don’t take the threat seriously.

I agree.

Look at JFK; in the modern era, he was the first Senator to president with a failed presidency. And yes, sans the assassination, those 1,000 days WERE a damned disaster!

I have heard mixed reviews about Steve King. He’s supposed to be pretty conservative. I don’t know what would prompt him to say that about Palin except desperation from the Cruz camp. Their internals may be showing second or third place.

Because I've been promised a position in both a Cruz and/or Trump Administration.

And now you're pissed off because neither one has called.......So sad.......LOL!

Any evidence for your claim that Sarah Palin got 5 Million for endorsing Trump?

I doubt she got anything.

Why are you attacking Sarah Palin?

Seriously.

You just completely took out of context what she said.

Who are we to “judge another’s FAITH.”

Not who are we to judge, or who are we to judge someones history, or who are we to judge a potential presidential candidate.

The reason Trump is winning is because he’s clearly an alpha male next to a beta.

Read “Reagan’s War” by Peter Schweitzer.

Your answer is in there, dp0622.

He was president of the Screen Actors Guild in Hollywood for a while, and saw the Reds gaining influence in both the film industry and in the Dem party.

Excellent book.

Not exactly since I work for very rich people. I don’t think I have ever met a poor person who employees people.

So, no it’s not that Trump is rich, it’s that he is a phony conservative blowhard.

Why, because I don’t agree with you about this? I can think for myself and that is my opinion. I don’t expect people to agree with me just respect my opinion as I do yours.

Tell me with an honest straight face that you truly believe that.

I know exactly as much about my claim as you do yours, and I like mine better.
