Trump now back over 40, reclaimed any ground he lost in early January, and over 35 now in almost every big poll. Crosses 50% in MI poll today, beating Cankles by 3.

The Cankles v Republican nominee polls are highly speculative at this point in time.

In the real general election, Trump v Cankles, you are going to see Cankles head first in the wood chipper, with her feet sticking up, just like the scene in Fargo.

So, Mr. Trump, I assume thats your opponent there in the wood chipper.

At this point, the establishment Chamberpot rino-weenies won't even have 1 delegate at the convention.

That 6.1% for Jebito will drop from here...

Life is good.

I think Cruz needs to look over his shoulder at Rubio and Bush.

Cruz is more outspoken about being Christian than Trump, who is nominal. Funny how people, in the back of their minds, think that Christians should look like Christ, who had a grace that would knock your sinful socks off in many cases without further effort.

But Cruz doesn’t show that grace and it reflected in his awkward mocking of Trump. Even I could have thought of better ways to address that and get the point across without looking like a lead balloon. He’s very RELIGIOUS, but that’s a different thing.

I thought Cruz was supposed to knock the debate out of the park.

He would have in a real debate but these 'debates' are just staged events designed to let the media drive viewer opinion to support their desired candidate. And that ain't Trump and it ain't Cruz.

His supports keep hugging that myth that Cruz is a champion debater how they think he is.

They dont GET that the type of debates that competitive debating clubs in high schools and colleges have, that Cruz was a part of, are not the same as these things that we just call “debates” on TV.

So they go in and are shocked when he doesn’t do nearly as well as they thought.

What’s with all the hate towards Cruz. The guy was a hero when he was the only one standing up the McConnell and Boner.

Couldn't agree with you more. I support Trump 100% but I still admire Ted Cruz. The guy is awesome and I believe he needs to be on the Supreme Court.

Thirty-some posts, and no one has asked when the national primary takes place?

What’s going on here?

Cruz does have a genuine legal problem. Depending on what court precedent is cited he could be out of the picture in a way that not even Obama (who kept claiming Hawaii birth, and finally had Hawaii hoke up a right purty birth certificate for him) was in danger of.

If I were Trump I’d be trying to negotiate on the QT with Cruz about what he gets if he throws support. But whatever he gets couldn’t be to be veep.

Amazing that 74% of the electorate want someone not embraced by the GOP establishment.

Let’s face it: Trump, Cruz and Carson are despised by Beltway know-it-alls.

I hope, truly, that at least Trump and Cruz can bury whatever real hatchets are between them and work together on fixing illegal immigration, Obamacare, and the liberty of the American people. Religious liberty, economic liberty, and social liberty are all in grave danger due to the last 7 years.

Please, gentlemen, stop the bickering and help the citizenry turn this ship around.

But, but, but...

I thought that if Trump didn’t show for the debate last night...he was THRU, DONE, OVER, FINISHED, BASTA, DEAD IN THE WATER, FINITO, LEFT THE MORTAL PLAIN! You mean to tell me, he’s still in the race?

How can that be? Somebody’s got a lot of ‘splaining to do.

Personally, I expect the source of “hate” towards Cruz is Liberal trolls. They are trying to forment a fight within the conservative side to insure that the agrieved parties sit out the general election.

I am fine with Trump or Cruz. I think that a Trump Presidency will deploy Ted Cruz to where he could do the most damage to the DC Uni-Party.

We need this coming election to put our man (Trump or Cruz) in the White House and then start grooming anti-Uni-Party candidates for 2018 to start cleaning out the Aegean Stables in the House and Senate.

Folks, this is the start of a long campaign. It is going to take 16-years to eradicate the DC Uni-Party slime from this country! We have to have a polite and substantive debate during the primaries with an agreement to band together afterwards.

We are all one team! We are all American Citizens!
