Itâs one thing to publish an editorial denouncing Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump; any news outlet can do that, and plenty have. Itâs another to get almost two dozen leading conservative thinkers to write essays arguing against the Manhattan billionaireâs nomination and agree to print them under a single banner: âAgainst Trump.â

National Review is done.
I’m glad William F. Buckley is not here to witness this infamy.
I loved WFB Jr!
Watched Firing Line as a child... the adults in the house would say “Why do you watch that!?!?”
I was an odd child.
As we enter 2017....with a President Trump...I don’t see him waiting around on the Republican House or Senate to work with him. It’s going to be executive-order and some Republicans standing there and trying to explain why they can’t work with the President. I see 2018 election period as a turn-over point with several Republican senators (Wicker and Corker) meeting opposition, and being voted out.
Even McCain probably will be voted out here in 2016. Same for Alaska’s Murkowski.
If only you were right about our long overdue to be retired Senator McCain. Two words: Term Limits!
AGAINST TRUMP:
Glenn Beck
David Boaz
Brent Bozell III
Mona Charen
Ben Domenech
Erick Erickson
Steven F. Hayward
Mark Helprin
William Kristol
Yuval Levin
Dana Loesch
Andrew C. McCarthy
David M. McIntosh
Michael Medved
Edwin Meese III
Russell Moore
Michael B. Mukasey
Katie Pavlich
John Podhoretz
R.R. Reno
Thomas Sowell
Cal Thomas
Good things to know.
The more the establishment elites attack the outsider, the more of an outsider he becomes .....which is exactly what makes him MORE ELECTABLE......THANK YOU NATIONAL REVIEW.

I found it odd when Lowry said “we’re not a business interest” when the TV channels pay each and everyone of them to go on TV. Now, knowing there will be a President Trump they’ve locked up a few more years of cash.
Hmmmmm?
Sad to see Dr. Sowell on there. His writings had a HUGE IMPACT on my family’s life - mainly by making it clear that parents should NEVER, EVER, trust public education and needed to take whatever steps necessary to avoid it (such as living in lower-class housing, etc.). My kids have great lives due to him and will certainly be following his advice, as our schools have only gotten WORSE since he wrote his books.
But now he’s old, obviously slowing down, and people around him are having a greater influence. But I’ll always remember him by the work he did when it counted for my family.
SEC (Super) Tuesday - March 1
Florida, Ohio and others - March 15.
Now consider it could all be over if it goes as it is, the filing deadline for Federal Representative and Senate primaries in Florida - June 28.
That Primary is not until Aug. 30.
Marco could quit the Prez campaign and then file to run again for Senate.
How many other states have a similar situation?
Trump could, and I have already heard hints, of pivoting with the nomination sewn up and supporting those who choose to run against the establishment. He could be continuing his tour of almost daily campaign rallies while also giving note and exposure to those who are choosing to oust the establishment GOPe sitting Reps.
The list that is doomed for the waste bin of politics.....
....Time to sweep DC folks......
.....Morning in America!!!!!
Let’s Make America Great Again!!!!
WOO HOO
Rich Lowry.. a guy who couldn’t get laid in college
Would hope that’s true!
a real house cleaning!!!
I watched it too and so did my father. Buckley has been replaced with wind-up conservative bobble heads always on the lookout for their next speaking fee.
