I am a Cruz supporter because he has been a consistent conservative on almost every issue...and the GOPe hates him, which is another point in his favor as far as I am concerned.

Trump has been fearless in smashing down the PC walls that the libs and their media brethren have spent years erecting. I do love that aspect of his candidacy, along with his focus on returning American jobs to America. But he has been all over the map on too many issues that are important to me - 2nd Amendment, Imminent Domain, Right-to-Life, Obamacare and banking reform to name a few.

I would probably vote for Trump if it was down to him vs Hillary, although he and the Clintons have been way too cozy over the years, which does concern me. If he is the nominee, I will be very interested to see who he selects as his VP!

Thankfully, the events of the past 20 years have convinced me that my hope is not, and never will be, determined by a politician or a political party!

Biden/Warren would be decent ticket for the Dems, but I think they’ll put a black/hispanic guy in at #2 to stimulate the ‘hood turnout.

Corey Booker / DeVal Patrick / Castro Bros

I will continue to support the Conservative, Ted Cruz. He has called out for whole departments to be deleted from the FedGov. He is a champion for our founding principles.

If he fails to win the nomination, Trump has to give me a lot more than he has to this point to get my vote. I consider that unlikely, but I am listening.

Cruz yes, Trump will not get my vote, if he is the candidate I will write in "none of the above".

I am convinced that a Hillary presidency will do less harm in the long run than a Trump presidency. Hillary will be opposed and will get very little done, Donald will make deals and will actually get more liberal policies in force than Hillary could. He will continue to expand executive power over the other two branches and abuse that power under the guise of getting things done. Obama-care will be made permanent, government will grow and oversight and regulation will increase. The most damaging effect of a Trump presidency is that real conservatives will be disenfranchised. The tea-party will have been co-opted by a liberal deal-maker and the opportunity to take back the country will be lost.

If Trump does go on to win the nomination the choice in November will be between a corrupt liberal democrat and a corrupt liberal running as a republican. The Peter King, Mitch McConnell, John McCain flavor of republican will dominate for decades. At least with Hillary there will be the opportunity for an opposition party and real small government conservatives to run in 2020. Trump is not bound by rules of good behavior, moral mores, or the constitution and he is dangerous to liberty.

Go ahead flame away!

I can’t vote for Trump. I do not believe he has transformed into a Conservative in his old age.

I will reluctantly vote for Cruz.

Bottom Line on Cruz:

I don’t trust Cruz’s sudden 180 degree conversion on various immigration issues like H-1B and Green Cards.

Also, Cruz has never stated that he will reduce our current massive level of LEGAL immigration, now about 1.25 million per year.

Thanks to massive LEGAL immigration, 27 million Hispanics will be eligible to vote in the 2016 election, and at least 70% of them will vote for the Democrat Party.

The only way Cruz can win in 2016 is if huge numbers of Black and Hispanic voters stay home.

Wouldn’t it be great if trump and Cruz made up, shook hands, maybe even a man hug and decided to end the fighting and whom ever got the nod made the other his VP. What a team. The bulldog and the lion. I know I know but I can dream.

Cruz/Trump 2016! That said, I believe the election will be a sham. Obama will grant Amnesty to millions of democratic voters before the election
