The author is not and was not SF qualified. He was a contractor as a civilian with the 10th after his 25 years in the Infantry. If this was from the SOA (Special Operations Association), the SFA Special Forces Association President and other elected officers (not one SFA chapter) or from Professional Soldiers.com and endorsed by the members it would be meaningful.

Exactly. I’m from Texas and I see “Secede” bumper stickers all the time. CW2 or secession isn’t happening until the government checks stop coming. There are too many CONSERVATIVES who have pensions or retirements and SS. They will not raise their rifles til the milk goes dry. Some may beforehand but not enough to accomplish anything.
I truly hope that Obama and his henchmen take this warning seriously. However, they have invested a lot of time, energy and money into putting their machine in place. I don’t think that Obama will give up his dream of “transforming” America because it’s the dream of his backers as well and they are much more formidable and dangerous than probably most of us want to admit.
Whether we keep or lose our nation depends on a lot of things. It’s been mentioned on here that there will be no war as long as people have their sports, Netflix, etc. and that is exactly right. Nations have fallen before in history because the populace simply didn’t want to face the fact that saving their way of life meant defending it on a personal level and sometimes with force, the same as they would if a criminal entered their home and threatened their family.
I’m praying that the agents of destruction that Obama has put in place throughout the whole structure of this nation will heed the warning that’s been given but it’s not likely that they will. As the letter says, they won’t be the ones fighting and dying.
The ordinary, working class citizen needs to heed this warning carefully as well. If Obama has his way, you will most certainly not keep your comforts and what few freedoms you have left to you. Those were won for you by the blood of America loving patriots in other wars. If your children and grandchildren are going to have any of them or a country in which to enjoy them; then the possibility must be faced that we might have to fight for them just as our parents and grandparents did.
On the other hand, the general public may choose to put their faith in our corrupted processes of government and that their Netflix, sports, etc., just may be granted to them if they’re good little lackeys.
