SAN ANTONIO â Texas-based Blue Bell Creameries, which stopped production and distribution of ice cream to 25 states in April after the discovery of listeria bacteria, said on Friday that listeria was discovered again in a production facility.
The company did not specify in a statement in which of its three facilities listeria had been found but said that none was found in any of its ice cream. Blue Bell said it is moving to eliminate the bacteria through a "seek and destroy" process.

“cannot rule out intentional inoculation. sounds fishy”
Yes it does.
That was my thought. Who is buying BB stock?
That's because they're getting their milk from predominately military aged male cows.
Best chile rellenos I ever ate was in Soccoro.
You don’t need to worry we would never insult you by calling you a Texan so go rope yourself another goat and be happy.
Just wonderin’, part of the immigration problem??? Huh?
“That’s because they’re getting their milk from predominately military aged male cows.’
What is it about homos that’s all they ever think of?
And I don't anything about goats. When I'm Texan I'm going to rope cows and steers and bulls and such, like all the other Texans.
If you aren’t willing to eat Blue Bell just because it has a little food poisoning in it, you aren’t a real Texan. They could have slapped warning labels on it saying “The Federal Government says you shouldn’t eat this because it may contain Lysteria” and they would have still sold ice cream in Texas.
You qualify as a Real Texan.
Only if you also drink Shiner Bock.
Listeria is the name of a bacteria found in soil and water and some animals, including poultry and cattle. It can be present in raw milk and foods made from raw milk. It can also live in food processing plants and contaminate a variety of processed meats.
That’s because they’re homo-genized.
It is in soil everywhere.
I’ve wondered about that since the first incidents.
Blue Bell has expanded their market considerably during the past few years.
Where did you go? If it was El Sombrero you lucked out, we tried to avoid it when working down at NM Tech.
I respect the fact they are admitting their problems and voluntarily have withdrawn product and shut down their plants.
I wonder what the demographic breakdown of their employees is.
Regular amounts of listeria will not hurt anyone without an impaired immune system or underlying disease.
One hypothesis could be sabotage.
