Sessions: Omnibus Explains Why 'Voters Are In Open Rebellion' (Must See Video)
You Tube ^ | 12/16/15 | Senator Sessions

Posted on 12/16/2015 7:29:35 PM PST by Amntn

Published on Dec 16, 2015
BACKGROUND:

In the dead of night after 2am this morning, Congressional leadership unveiled a more than 2,000 page 'omnibus' year-end funding bill which would, among other things: fully-fund the President's refugee expansion; fully-fund sanctuary cities; fully-fund the resettlement of illegal aliens youth and their families crossing the border; lock-in tax credits for illegal aliens; and quadruple the highly controversial H-2B foreign worker visa being used to replace Americans as truck drivers, construction workers, theme park employees, and in blue collar jobs across the nation.

Sessions, the Chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee, issued a statement about the bill as it speeds to a vote before it can be read, observing in part that GOP voters: "have come to believe that their party's elites are not only uninterested in defending their interests but - as with this legislation, and fast-tracking the President's international trade pact - openly hostile to them." On the floor today, Sessions further reminded his colleagues that their duty is the American people - not special interests, immigration advocacy groups, or lobbyists for narrow business concerns.

Sessions observed that - as the omnibus paves the way for a huge immigration increase beyond today's record-breaking highs - that more than 8 in 10 American voters want the level of immigration in American frozen or cut, and yet the GOP-led Congress is about to surge it even higher.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau - even without these increases - immigration will add the population equivalent of 1 new Los Angeles to the country each 3 years.

The U.S. has admitted 59 million immigrants since 1965. As historical context, after the numerically-smaller 1880-1920 immigration wave, future immigration was reduced to promote wage growth for US-born and immigrant workers: there was zero net growth in the foreign-born population over the course of the next half-century (in fact, it declined markedly). Now, after five decades of unprecedented immigration, the U.S. is on path to add another five decades of unprecedented immigration on top of that - setting new all-time records every single decade to come.

Folks, if people wanted conservatism, they would vote for conservatives. There is no 'against the Democrat' check box on a ballot. You vote FOR. And people voted FOR those that campaigned on liberalism after displaying YEARS of liberal actions.

Man up folks. 'WE'; collectively did this to ourselves. Vote like men next time instead of gutless cowards.

Couldn't have said it any better myself!!!!!

Hat tip to Finny who deserves all the credit for the FOR/Against point.

Is there supposed to be some sort of strategy here? DO they think that by giving Obama and the Democrats everything they want, they are pulling off some sort of “let the Democrats own the disaster” long con? ___________________________________________________________ It is time to face the fact that the republicans want this as much as the democrats. They aren’t fighting them. They are fighting US.

No strategy to let the RATS hang themselves - the GOPe believes nothing should get in the way of them winning the WH in 2016. How would that place blame on the RATS? The new GOP President will get all the blame!!! Surprised you haven't figured that out yet!!

Yes, the uniparty is fighting US and it is way past time the American voting public WAKE the @#$% up.

It was more rhetorical when I was asking if there is supposed to be a strategy. I know there isn't.

So they have simply given up.

No, they are in cahoots with one another. We have the Uniparty, which is owned by the corporate elites and special interests. The politicians have become so disconnected from the public and our national interests that they have the arrogance to pass this Omnibus bill. They are giving us the big middle finger. We deserve the government we get.

Tear it all down. It is beyond fixing.

Jeff Sessions is the only one who defends the interests of American workers. Is it any wonder that Sessions won his reelection unopposed?

Point of order: is it possible for voters to be “in open rebellion”? We choose the leaders and dictate to them, not the other way around.

I don’t think they are going to pull it.

I reported it last night shortly after I posted it.

What’s in the omnibus also explains why Congress will never reduce spending or rein in government and why the tax code will never be replaced.

Traitors to their Oath of Office, traitors to their Electorate, traitors to the Constitution, traitors to the Rule of Law. May Righteous justice soon find them all.

Where is that picture from? Look at all the widows and 3 year olds/s. Why are the staff/guards wearing biohazard gear. This country is in deep trouble with Congress openly against us.

Yes, you’re both correct. Sad, but true.

I’ve got to wrap my mind around the fact that they’re no longer the “good” guys...

Still, I won’t through out the baby with the bathwater.

We can keep my senator Jeff Sessions in the good guys category, for example.

I have called the top 3 House Leaders and none are picking up the phone. My rep. is the Chair of Homeland Security (Michael McCaul) and I called him. They always answer. I registered my disgust and told him that Paul Ryan will not be re-elected in his home district next year. I also told him if they cannot see what they are doing, they have truly become blind.

The ruling elites in this nation are only considering what other ruling elites want to have happen. We have passed the point of no return on this situation and it will not change with anything short of armed rebellion and a new political arrangement.
