No one had heard of these hacks before the debate. First impressions are usually the lasting ones.
“The revolution IS being televised, after all”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Love. This.
“People who want to be President of the United States should be able to answer tough questions”
I’d like to see Hillary go through the Conservative equivalent of that lyin’s den. She would probably go through two boxes of Depends during those two hours.
I still think the award for the worst debate question still goes to Megyn Kelly who asked...
“Senator Cruz, start from you. Any word from God?”
This was within 10 minutes of the end of the debate.
OMG, Call out the Whine Police, poor little liberals got their feelings hurt.
Liberalism is an existential denial of reality and the energetic preference for an internal reality. To these people, “reality” is malleable and plastic. The external world becomes a place from which things and ideas can be selected (and rejected) from which to construct the internal reality where they prefer to live. They are literally living a lie. They prefer lies. They share lies. The truth is only useful to the extent it supports the lies they prefer at the moment.
So, therefore, their internal world, the place where they live, is an ongoing and actively maintained part of their personality. When you object to any part of it, or when you point out that something is morally corrupt, you have touched part of their self-identity. The first defense is denial or diversion. Should you press the further and succeed in boxing them in, the common response is that of self-defense attack. When you object to some aspect of their action, you are obviously a H8r, you “hate” them.
So, of course because reality is what they want, and does not include what they don’t want, they can do no wrong. The only way to overcome this is by through a moment that overwhelms their ability to sustain their internal reality. Nothing is every their fault, until it is such an overwhelming failure that they cannot sustain the denial.
The on-air talent in the MSM are at the top of the heap of talented people. They are also talented at liberalism. They will soon recover and reestablish their denial, which is really their corruption. They will be back.
Ted Cruz is nothing but a H8r, and H8rs must be marginalized and punished. It only matters as long as people pay any attention to the MSM, and judging by the number of people who have turned away from satellite TV and who only have cable so they can get the internet, the media’s river of money is drying up. CNBC’s viewership is tanking and for good reason. So is MSNBC’s.
I dropped DirectTV and got a Roku box. We signed up for Amazon Prime. The dirty secret of DirectTV is that MSNBC got a portion of my subscription money even though I never watched the channel. Now they don’t get a penny. We must defund the liberal media at every opportunity. Getting internet-based TV like Roku is one way of doing it.
Why they call these fiascos debates is beyond me. A debate lays some proposition out
there and asked the participants how each would address it or take the pro/con side.
I’d like them to go into a debate with either three or four topics, 15 or so minutes
each topic and let the candidates address how they would approach the issue, the
good, the bad and changes or eliminations.
No that’s Pecky Quick
Sounds about right. Becky has a sleazy half asleep thing about her.
They may be intellectually equivalent, but Becky is far hotter.
Are you saying Becky is loose? If so, that's good to know. :-)
For me who and others here who battled media bias for several years, we witnessed a sea change.
the tide has turned. it is now not only ok, but mandatory to fight back, to draw media blood
There’s no shame on CNBC’s part, or any of the libs that supported this ambush. They are blind to any self-recriminations
To prove it, just ask them... “If you voted for Obama in 2008/12, will you be voting for Hillary in 2016?”
Believe me, their answer will reveal their complete lack of shame.
If you read the entire article, you’ll see that the mods and CNBC executives were not bothered at all. They had high ratings and issued orders to MSNBC not to question the debate tactics any further and for CNBC anchors to “move on.” They are incapable of learning because they don’t think they are wrong.
I was wondering yesterday...... whatever happened to Librarian Barbie?
“They crafted their strategy, their questions, thinking that after the debate theyâd be rock stars, celebrated and cheered”
Yeah, but they never in a million years would have thought that all but a couple of the Republican candidates on stage were way smarter than themselves, and would figure out how to take the control of the debate, namely ignore their deliberately hostile questions and simply use their allotted time to say what they wanted to say, and in the process make the moderators look like the biased fools that they really were.
Am I suppose to feel sorry for them? Did they learn anything? Doubt it.
I got directed toward older youtube(s) this morning and I am now listening to 1980 Presidential debate between (then) President Carter and challenger, Ronald Reagan, .. (an hour and a half) and I am amazed how it all sounds like this weeks' debate
Minimum wage, how to deal with terrorism, military budget ... etc.
We would be wise to go back once a week and drag some of this stuff back up
We need reminders
