Ben Carson’s Violent History Ended As A Seventh Day Adventist – Do Gun Control Beliefs Make Him

Ben Carson’s Violent History Ended As A Seventh Day Adventist – Do Gun Control Beliefs Make Him Fake?

In a new interview, Ben Carson’s violent history has come to light based upon the admissions of the 2016 GOP candidate. The retired neurosurgeon was once well known for separating conjoined twins, but when he was a teen he used those same hands for violence, including assault and stabbings.

Carson says those days are well behind him, but the source for this amazing change in the teenage Carson goes back to his beliefs as a Seventh Day Adventist Christian. But some say those same beliefs conflict with Carson’s gun control stance, with some so going so far as to claim Carson is not an authentic Adventist.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Donald Trump says he does not understand why Ben Carson’s poll numbers continue to rise, and Trump even referred to Carson’s energy levels as being “lower than Bush.” Trump even made a joke out of the situation, saying, “Donald Trump falls to second place behind Ben Carson. We informed Ben, but he was sleeping.”

During the Meet The Press interview, Chuck Todd asked Carson directly if people mistook his “soft-spokenness” with a lack of energy.

“I think so,” Carson replied. “I have plenty of energy. But, you know, I am soft-spoken. I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn’t always like that. There was a time when I was, you know, very volatile. But, you know, I changed.”

This is when Ben Carson’s violent history was discussed in very frank terms.

“As a teenager. I would go after people with rocks, and bricks, and baseball bats, and hammers. And, of course, many people know the story when I was 14 and I tried to stab someone.

I am not a Carson partisan. This ‘revelation’ of Carson being a young thug is not only not new it comes from his own autobiographical writings. His story is one of triumph over very adverse environmental conditions . He is one black male who beat the street and became something great. Unlike our current president whose privileged background has only produced an angry rabble rouser with a chip on his shoulder, Carson's is a true story of just how far one can go in our country.
Why is this being seen as derogatory to Dr. Carson?

He's a great example of how knowing Jesus Christ as your Savior will transform you.

He still violently wants to force people to get vaccinations regardless of their religious beliefs. Additionally, he is a friend of Al Sharpton and carries a flag of white oppression of blacks...

What does that mean, "Beat the street"? And that has what to do with a person threatening their mother with a hammer and attempting to stab someone else? What did the street have to do with that?

A while back we were members of a church where one of the deacons was a black panther back in the 60s. Admitted he wanted to kill white people.

Gentle, compassionate soul was he.

Thank you for another example of how Jesus Christ transforms lives. IMHO, it is a sign of desperation when a person who has led an exemplary life for more than 40 years is attacked for idiotic things he did as a teenager.

I read his autobiography and other books on him before he was running for office. He is a Christian, as much as anyone I know, and was transformed by God. He proved his worldview for decades, and again, when he gave the speech for the White House prayer breakfast....and he spoke truth to power. How extremely brave of him to do so.

He is NOT a trained politician, nor did he have years to study “politics” like all the lawyers. He was reading medical journals and studying reality—real situations and problem solving on a HIGH level-—in LIFE AND DEATH situations ALL THE TIME.

It is TRUE-—that our culture since the 60s are warping all EMOTIONS of whites and blacks-—pushing all events through a Marxist/Freudian Lens-—to destroy relationships between black and white. He KNOWS that-—HE has probably read Booker T. Washington’s “Up from Slavery”-—a brilliant perspective of race relations and freedom and dignity in work for the Black man (and children). He KNOWS the Natural Family is the fundamental element of society and flourishing.

We have a school system and media that denigrates Virtue and Dignity in men—both black and white-—so WHAT IS NEW????????

A godly man in the White House would be much better than a satanist which we have today. He is a uniter-—not a Marxist. He is a Christian-—and not a pseudo one at all.

Does he make mistakes. YES——but he is HUMBLE and BRILLIANT and can come to the RIGHT conclusion if given the TRUTH which he LOVES.

You have to all listen to his opening Bible quotes and understand exactly what he stands for.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpiryahOspY

Some items of Seventh Day Adventism:

Human nature (fundamental beliefs 7, 26)—Humans are an indivisible unity of body, mind, and spirit. They do not possess an immortal soul and there is no consciousness after death (commonly referred to as “soul sleep”).

Conditional immortality (fundamental belief 27)—The wicked will not suffer eternal torment in hell, but instead will be permanently destroyed.

There are some very cultish aspects.

Dang. I don’t disagree with those tenets.
Does it mean I’m a Seventh Day Atheist?

I agree, an angry young teenager who finally accepts God and turns his life around and becomes one of the most noteworthy neurosurgeons in this country should not be trusted...........

Nobody should trust a Christian, there's too many hypocrites out there and Carson appears to be one of them.
