What else could explain Trump’s success to this point? But eventually, the candidates will be forced into actually offering substance, and it’s hard to see either lasting past that.

I remember when HotAir first began, with Michelle Malkin and her wonderful VENT segment. The exposés she and Bryan did were amazing (Daniel Pearl murder, illegal immigration, etc).

The media is untrustworthy as it now works against the democracy and the people. The media is consolidated to the point where a relatively few can coordinate the message used to control the peons. The plan in the debate was to bring Fiorina along, just as they brought Obama along. They want an inside player, not a maverick.
I want Cruz, but it's more of a FUGOPe that I am currently wanting Trump to continue whatever it is he is doing.

Most Americans of both the left and right tune out Presidents and their speeches after several years. They become thread-worn cliches that are full of double speak and hypocrisy.
Most would tune Fiorina out immediately. She speaks stiffly as would a programmed robot with a teleprompter. I’ve heard too many insider stories about Carly Fiorina, long before she got into politics, to ever consider her as credible candidate. She was set up to look good by the media that controlled the debate and they probably provided her with questions and inside info on how they would orchestrate it. The media itself is the enemy of a country run by and for the people.
I would not vote for her. She is owned by the establishment. Lotta weird stuff gonna happen.
I don’t get it. She comes off as really angry and sensitive to me. She is very articulate and says some great things, but she just looks and sounds like she has a major chip on her shoulder. I actually thought Huckabee said some great things especially defending the freedom of religion.
I never said anything about Carly being the next great GOP hope..but you DID specifically SAY SHE.......SHE......you could ONLY have been talking about Carly because she’s the ONLY SHE in the mix. YOU SAID SHE, not me. So unless you’re telling me Trump is a she, I got you on this one - dead to rights.

Every election, I read the candidates’ books. Walker’s is a very good read.
My mother was a Democrat all her life and is a new Republican now that she’s retired.
She loves Marco Rubio.
I’m trying to explain Rubio to her and it’s like talking to a wall.
What truth? That she is a demagogic, know it all, oligarchic bitch that drove a great company like HP into the ground, fired thousands of employees and well lined her own pockets?
I doubt you will NOT find anyone who worked for her with good things to say about her.
She was well prepared with good things to say but I want none of her.
